I believe with just a few changes it could live up to the hype. They were out of pork belly, for it to not be a daily menu item I was disappointed. Ribs weren't tender, cheese in sausage got cold which gave it a weird texture and made it chewy- after that, the pair didn't mix well. The mac and cheese was loaded with cheese sauce, more like soup. I really liked the corn dressing but the sweet barbecue sauce was overpowering. I'm not sure if it was raspberry or cherry but I would've preferred an original sauce on the side. The tacos lacked flavor. A very mediocre $90 meal. It may be that demographic area that took a liking to Space City and I admire the support but I could count numerous other bbq joints that'll blow them out of the water.

Already making waves with Texas Monthly and winning Houstons Peoples choice. Space City is definitely aiming for the stars. My buds at Weavers and Chicano highly recommend Space City and I know why. Food is outstanding and the service couldn't be any better. The boudin and pulled pork sammy were fantastic. That frito pie was fire. Perfect for a cold day like today. Hey, do yourself a favor while in Baytown. Look up Space City BBQ and go. Til we eat again.
