He walked thru the training technique and schedule, being sure to answer any questions or concerns we had. We scheduled three, full day trainings - spread over 3 weeks so that we would have practice time in between each lesson. We would drop Tilly off in the AM, pick her up in the afternoon. When we arrived back at the facility, my husband and I had an hour with the trainer and Tilly to walk through what they went over in the day. We also got a "Report Card" after each lesson that highlighted how it went. Super helpful. Brenna trained Tilly on the 1st and 3rd day and Jada trained Tilly on the 2nd day. Each were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable. They walked through the training collar process, commands and walking habits. They helped Tilly go from pulling on her harness to complete loose leash walking, how to get into her "Place", how to heal, and how to stay focused while around other distractions (dogs, cars, people, etc). Facilities were clean, well managed. Highly recommend Sit Means Sit, Brenna, Jada and Greg!

I just text Cortney and she's always quick with advice and ideas. During our training, Cortney came to my house and provided everything I needed like a mat, collars, leashes, etc. She walked me through training techniques and practiced with me at each session. I always left our sessions with homework to practice and continually reinforce the training. For daycare, my puppy and I are welcomed with a big smile and a big hello to us both. When he is picked up, the staff tells us who he played with and how he did. They even are helping us train him to get comfortable in a kennel. During his boarding stay the staff went above and beyond to say the least. They gave him extra love when he would get nervous- they even put him in a thunder jacket to calm his worries. Amazing. We are so thankful. They took Christmas photos of him after a complementary bath which were adorable! They communicated so well (and fast) so that we were at ease being far away. Enlisting the help of Suburban K-9 was the best decision we ever made- Salina was prompt, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned the why behind our dog's behaviors as well as what to do to improve or correct them. Now we can walk off leash at a smart heel, his barking is massively improved, he comes when called with other dogs/people around along- things I've only ever seen dogs do on tv are things my dog can do! In fact, another trainer we contacted declined to work with her because of her breed mix. Tyrese, however, welcomed the challenge with confidence, patience, and skill. For one month, three days a week, Tyrese worked with our dog, Margot, and completely transformed her behavior. She is still the smart, independent thinker we love, but she now reliably comes when called (sometimes with side-eye, lol) and stays on command--something we weren't sure would ever be possible. The progress she made is remarkable and her spirit is intact. What impressed us most was Tyrese's training style. He is incredibly kind and gentle with our dog, and she was never fearful or stressed during training. At the same time, he maintains complete control and earns her respect through consistency and clear communication. It is obvious that he truly understands dogs and how to bring out their best.
