They did my cataract surgery and I am quite satisfied. All done for both eyes in about 4 months.

The front desk employee - an older woman with white hair whose name I unfortunately didn't catch - desperately needs a lesson in respect. I don't care what your previous customer's issue was; you gave us attitude even though your office was the one that canceled one of my two appointments. My online account clearly showed the appointment as active, and it was moved to a different day without any email, phone call, or text notification whatsoever. To make matters worse, while I was there, I overheard two separate incidents where other customers were dealing with your company's inability to deliver their glasses with all the paid-for services. In both cases, your staff accused the customers of not having purchased those services, despite it clearly being documented in your computer system. Honestly, stay far away from this place. I'd rather keep using my three-year-old glasses than deal with this level of incompetence and disrespect again. Go somewhere else!

All were extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and accommodating! I highly recommend this office! Way to go!!!

Since Dr. McNally was on vacation then, Dr. Tatge performed the second surgery and an additional mini-surgery in his office the following day to try and keep the incision closed. Since this happened, my husband's eyesight in that eye has gotten steadily worse. Last year he was told by the Michigan Vision Institute that he is legally blind in that eye and that it will never get better. Dr. Tatge came out of surgery and told me that the implant was defective and that was why it broke. For two years Dr. McNally strung my husband along and kept telling him to use yet another eyedrop and it would help. Of course, nothing ever helped. But, he did manage to exhaust the two-year statute of limitations for medical malpractice in Michigan. In May of 2017, I contacted Novartis/Alcon regarding the "defective" lens. I went around with them for over a year. Their stance is that it was placed in the eye improperly and that is why it broke. While trying to obtain Robert's medical records from four different doctors, dealing with Dr. McNally's office was ridiculous. His office manager lied to me repeatedly and sent the day-of-surgery records for the wrong patient. I finally threatened to come his office to get to the bottom of it and she sent the correct records to Novartis/Alcon. I really wonder why she would be so hesitant to provide his records to them. Also, the day of his surgery, I watched as every doctor came out and talked to the patient's family. When Dr. McNally walked out, he walked right past me and continued out the door. I had to ask my husband what he looked like to verify it was him. How unprofessional! I have to wonder now if he knew that something was wrong with the way he performed the surgery. I have given Dr. McNally every opportunity to discuss this issue with us, but he has not replied. There is NO REASON that someone should go in for cataract surgery and come out of it legally blind. The ironic part is that Dr. McNally told him he could not release him to tow our 5th wheel to Arizona until he had cataract surgery. Yet, when everything went horribly wrong and he was blind in that eye, he didn't have a problem with him driving to Arizona.
