I've been here 3 times, all technician were extremely friendly and the salon is clean and comfortable. However the quality of cuticular treatment and filing left much to be desired. I like the salon but the inconsistent staff makes it a hit or miss experience. 1st time here. It was recommended by patrons that frequent the salon. My friend had a great manicure done by Hannie. I however had the worst manicure I've ever had. Emily (sp?) used the power sander to remove my gel polish and cuticles. This was not only extremely hot & painful, she kept bending my fingers side to side, and digging her own nails into each of my fingers. She sanded one of my cuticles until it was bleeding. She attempted to remove some of the excess blue dip color stuck to my skin around my nails with cuticle clippers and ended up cutting the skin in multiple places. She didn't let me know that nails have to dry for 3 minutes before they're partially set. She had me wash my hands too early and I had to have nail redone. There are color voids all over on the nails. She was on her phone/apple watch phone calls the entire apt. She was in such a massive hurry that she rushed through the apt. carelessly, and aggressively. There is blue dip filling each and every one of the voids between my the underside of my finger nails and the skin. There's also blue all over the bottoms of my hands. read more

A great nail salon that just opened! Definitely must come try out, the atmosphere is amazing and it's beautifully decorated! New chairs and neutral colors that make me feel relaxed! Used to be so good, but the staff seems to always be in a rush. When getting pedicures they barely pumice your feet, may as well just pay thirty bucks for a soak and polish. Their drilling technique leaves my nails paper thin, if you ask that they please not Dremel the nail, they will always say "the manicure will not last as long without it." Or they will become defensive. I had been going to another manicurist in Amarillo that never dremeled my nail bed, and her gel polish stayed on just fine. But for SOME reason Zens does not...get a better brand guys come on! If you have to buff a clients nail down to nothing in order for your gel polish or dip powders to stick, you may need to find another brand OR re-evaluate your curing method! After the impatience of the staff and total disregard for proper techniques to keep nails healthy, I decided to not return. read more

I went in there the other day and got in right away but my nail tech was horrible she was rude and didn't really talk to me and did a horrible job on my nails. I had to come back the next day and have another lady fix them because she did so bad. They were rough and bumpy and crooked. I have had her twice and she had cut me horribly both times. It took over an hour to get horrible nails and I wasn't happy but when I went back I got a lady who was super understanding and got them fixed for free. read more

This is usually my favorite place to go, iv been going here for over 2 years now. I usually always have Jun and she always does an amazing job, but yesterday i had a different lady and she did horrible. I come here at least once a month every month I just expect something a little more than what I got. she did terrible on my pedicure. She cut my nail so short that it hurts to touch it and it's uneven and another one she made bleed. my toes aren't filled the same either! then on my nails I got dip. My nails hurt so bad i can hardly touch them and one also won't start bleeding and my thumbs nails aren't even the same length. on top of all of that she wasn't a very nice person at all. read more

Great place for a pedicure. They are always friendly and they keep the place very clean. I have had a pedicure from at least 10 different employees and I have yet to have an experience that I didn't like. What I appreciate the most is that they take their time with you, even if they are really busy and people are waiting. If you get a pedicure other than their basic one, they spend around an hour on your pedicure, a good part of that time on massage. I really like this place and the people who work here and always look forward to my monthly pedicure with them! read more

I signed in and was told to take a seat at one of the tubs. Feet in the water...nobody came to do my pedicure for 45minutes!!!! You better ask how long it will be before you sit down and put your feet in the water!! I will not go back there!!!! read more

I was extremely disappointed with my manicure and dip yesterday. Not only did I end up filing my own nails but I was also rushed when trying to select a color for the dip. The gal was rude and laughed when I chose black for my dip color (which I wouldn't have done if I would have had more time to look). I will not be back. read more

Far from a Zen manicure. What a horrible experience... I've been to Zen twice. My first visit was great I got a pedicure that I was good. However on my second visit, Ken the nail technician I worked with, became offended when I offended in put and walked away from my manicure. I had a small cut on my finger well above my nail. I told him if the cut and asked him to avoid the area. But he applied acetone to the cut 3 times after I pointed it out to him. I finally folded the foil on that one finger down so that it would not irritate the wound. Ken glared at me and was clearly angered. I told Ken I wanted my nails cut down shorter and oval in shape. When I asked him to make them shorter he pointed to the nails and said "is this not oval!"I was embarrassed and by the scene he caused. I offered to show him a picture of what I wanted. This was when he got up and walked away from the manicure station. Another employee came and finished my manicure. She informed that the shape I wanted was actually square round not oval. She did finish my manicure without incident. I expected a simple and relaxing manicure, not a scene or a conflict. I'm so disappointed, wish I'd not driven an hour for what I thought would be a great experience. read more

First, I had really high hopes for this place. It's nice inside, but the dip powder manicure I got bubbled up less than an hour after I left. I called to ask them to refund my money and they told me they don't do that. What? They told me to come in and they'd fix the nails that were messed up. Problem is that I already spent 1.5 hours there for this manicure. I don't have another 1.5 hours to waste, especially when it should only take 45 minutes for one of these manicures. Very poor customer service. I'll never go back and if I could have given this review with zero stars I would have. Don't go here. You'll be disappointed for sure. I know I am, especially because I over tipped. This place is a joke. read more

The staff is unfriendly and rude. When my manicurist cut me, he got angry at me for pulling my hand away. I went back there again, wanting to give them a second chance (mainly for the location) and I head the manager yelling at another customer. The shop is lovely, but it doesn't make up for the rude attitudes. This is not a place that I choose to spend my time. read more
