I am of middle eastern descent and I naturally have a lot of hair, her wax is strong and removes all of my thick stubborn hair. I never have breakouts or any side effects from her waxing at all since I've been coming in to her. Her shop is always clean and cozy and feels very homey too. I really enjoy coming to Sarah for my waxes and I know you will to. She practices great cleanliness and sanitizes everything she uses which is a really big thing for me. Overall Sarah is the best and the wax she uses is high quality. Once you try waxing with Sarah you'll never need to look for another shop for your waxing needs.

She used to be located in San Marcos, but has since transferred to an oceanside location which is VERY easy to find and right off of highway 76. I arrived 10 min. early and google maps brought me to a nail salon. I wasnt sure if that was the correct place, so I texted the number on my confirmation email to double-check. Jada QUICKLY replied and let me know it was at the lashes+beauty location right next to Albertsons. After arriving, I noticed how clean and well styled the location was. Definitely felt upscale, and welcoming! She quickly brought me back and introduced herself. She is so easy to talk to, it almost felt like i've known her for years! I called specifically to book a gel manicure with Tara, who is excellent and, in my opinion, the best nail technician there. I was told that Tara did not do gel manicures. However, when I called again on another occasion to try to make a new appointment, I was told that she actually does provide that service. Today, I called again specifically requesting Tara, and once again I was told that she does not do gel manicures and that if I wanted that service, I would need to book with someone else. I completely understand if the nail technician I want is unavailable at the time or on the day I'm requesting. That is not the issue. The problem is receiving conflicting information and feeling like my request for a specific technician is repeatedly being disregarded. This has happened before as well. I once requested a pedicure with Tara and was booked with someone else instead. The receptionist has also been rude, confused appointment times, and then blamed the clients for the confusion. It's extremely frustrating because when you find a nail technician whose work you love, you naturally want to continue booking with that person. Instead of simply being honest about Tara's availability, I have repeatedly been given inconsistent information or booked with someone else. Tara is wonderful and does excellent work. On top of that, I booked for a full body wax that was not completed. Please make sure to read everything before booking! I booked last minute because I have been a loyal client for going onto 3 years now. Never been anywhere else. I had no idea it was going to take a pretty lengthy time to get a full body ... The Brazilian itself took 1 hour & a half because the wax kept breaking & she kept burning my skin. She kept moving up & down the temperature on the wax & wasnt confident in her pulls. She then did my legs, & cheeks, & there was no time for my upper torso & arms. Now the owner is sending me threatening me messages because I didn't pay the second half of the uncompleted service. Why would I do that! Our text messages also speak for themselves. This girl is crazy. I am NEVER returning back! The girl who did the wax was SO COOL but she needs to learn some boundaries on what areas to touch when trimming & waxing but it's the owner who makes this a complete nightmare. AVOID this place at ALL COST.
