I arrived a little early, so that I could browse their gift shop items. Then, was escorted to a quiet room where I was greeted by my Esthetician, Julie. Honestly, from beginning to end , I have never felt so pampered! This was the hydra facial and I consider it my favorite so far. I like the rapport with my professional and the fact that she explained each step of the procedure in terms that I understood. I felt very comfortable asking questions along the way as well. It helped my sore back and legs. She started with standing on my back and walking and rocking gently back and forth. It was $100 + tip ($20) which I paid in cash. I would recommend them. I get deep tissue massage but you can get a light massage for relaxation.

To top it off, CWC is taking so many extra steps during COVID. The fitness center is spotless, and the employees are constantly cleaning and have their masks on. I have been a member on and off at this fitness center for around 6 years or so and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The women have been forced to share the locker room with children and men. UPMC has made little to no progress toward the repairs to the showers and steam room located in the women's locker room. When we ask for updates we are gaslight and treated as if we are the problem. If UPMC can get away with gaslighting women at a wellness center, imagine how their healthcare providers gaslight and treat women. UPMC's handling of this situation is completely unacceptable!

I book the services online, usually a couples massage with my husband. Customer service calls a few days before the appointment and are very friendly and professional. I like to go early and get a run in before unwinding in the saunas. Then, a glass of champagne in the quiet room to continue relaxing before my massage. The massage therapist are great!!! With my treatment, I choose an aromatherapy designed to stimulate the chakras and they use warm weighted neck pillows to help soften the muscle tension in addition to light pressure techniques. With the day spa, you have access to the gym amenities, a sauna, steam room, and the showers. There are lockers in the locker rooms to retrieve your robe/sandals and to lock up your personal belongings. Both the massage itself and the amenities were great.
