The majority of the US textile industry went to China. One of the new owners is originally from China who understands the market decided to bring in some high quality garments and assessories that are not mass produced. The problem is the care instructions on these garmets are not in English. Not that everything in the store is from China ether. This only amounts to a small percentage of their overall inventory. Margaret O'Leary. Paper Label, pink wheels and indigenous are still carried along with locally designed clothing and other well-known lables. It's the idea that China produced clothing is somehow both inferior and cheap in quality which is far from being true. With everything there's good and bad. In the case of Crazy Fox they have beautiful silks, Cashmeres and wools from China. If sold under American lables we are accustomed too seeing would cost three times what they have things priced for and their clothing is manufactured in China too. Crazy Fox will eventually have their own labels before long to clear up any confusion with what they are selling. As for the care instructions those are easily translated for the buyers by the associates who are knowledgeable with all the different materials used in making the garments. Don't judge to quickly because they have beautiful and unique items not found anywhere else.

It's almost like walking through a well curated antique store and probably full of consignment items. It would realistically require multiple visits to fully appreciated the inventory here. Corsini (in town for more than 20 years) specializes in classic Italian men's clothing and personal service. It might be a bit more expensive than a typical Santa Fe store (although it's rather reasonable by big-city standards), but this is where I buy gifts for all the men in my life. I even buy some of the beautiful cashmere sweaters and gorgeous colored jeans for myself. The outerwear (shearlings, leathers, and all-weather Jackets), sports jackets, shirts, and very comfortable jeans in incredible dyes, are not to be missed. The personable and knowledgeable owner, Fabrizio, and the salespeople--Gene and a cool woman--make shopping here a delightful experience.
