New York Wildberry Cheesecake gelato has a great, natural cheesecake flavor. The swirls of berry are rather sweet, but tempered by the tangy base. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry was a surprising household favorite with it's uber creamy pretty-pink base and stracciatella style dark chocolate. They offer a variety of flavors, with some seasonal. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)! Can you imagine how perfect that would be for a party? There is a $30 minimum, which is extraordinarily easy to meet, and a $5 delivery charge. I can't put my finger on it, but something about the texture is not quite right. Close, but not 100%. Still very good, though. Regular flavors. No lavender or other exotic flavors that you would find at other true Italian gelato places. But very good flavors. I recommend that you give them a try. You will like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier.
