In this case, I think it is for the better, as you can have ice cream delivered straight to your door! A month or so back I placed an online order right around their same-day cut off time of 4pm. I was so impressed when a bagful of ice cream was dropped off at my door within less than an hour! We enjoyed the following: Rocky Road features a mild chocolate base and small bits of nuts, but I never found even ONE teeny marshmallow in the whole quart (I just looked up the description to make sure I wasn't mistaken and it definitely mentions those squishy white delights!). Fresh Peach Gelato boasts local peaches from Kuwahara. Tangy, but just-sweet enough. Not quite as creamy as others, but that is par for the course with most fruit based ice creams. Oreo has mostly fine Oreo pieces, but a lot. If you had asked me, I'd have guessed my preference would be larger chunks, but I'd be wrong. This is delightful! New York Wildberry Cheesecake gelato has a great, natural cheesecake flavor. The swirls of berry are rather sweet, but tempered by the tangy base. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry was a surprising household favorite with it's uber creamy pretty-pink base and stracciatella style dark chocolate. They offer a variety of flavors, with some seasonal. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)! Can you imagine how perfect that would be for a party? There is a $30 minimum, which is extraordinarily easy to meet, and a $5 delivery charge. Go support this wonderful local business crafting such delicious treats!

Not bad. I'm used to…read moreauthentic gelato. In Tucson we frequented a place that was owned and run by an Italian that graduated from Gelato University in Italy. He had the real revolving gelato freezer cases. Best gelato I've ever had since. This gelato is pretty good, though does not live up to being quite as authentic. I can't put my finger on it, but something about the texture is not quite right. Close, but not 100%. Still very good, though. Regular flavors. No lavender or other exotic flavors that you would find at other true Italian gelato places. But very good flavors. I recommend that you give them a try. You will like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I chose English toffee, Greek yogurt (with berries), and blue (for 4th of July) fior de latte (milk flower). I normally like things with fruit the most, but the English toffee and fior de latte had a great rich texture that made me favor them. The employees were nice and had a good sense of humor. A metal trash crushed to the ground and we all joked about it. The table are iron and marble, evocative of Italianate style. The AC was at a perfect level. I did not use the bathrooms. The parking might not be great for busier days, The lot has ~10 spots and the adjacent street (400 N) has no parking signs in front. The only negative was the tables could've used wiping. I arrived close to closing, but it was pretty slow. So they both could've done it but also might not be prioritizing it before a final wipe when they leave.

Their comfortable, bright, and whimsical shop is serving up their goods with a smile. They even chat about everything we love and what we would like to see. I am loving the monthly/seasonal flavors they are bringing on. Their take on affogato is also fantastic. I will admit this is one of our stops when we have out-of-towners. You should check it out and bring friends!! And prepare to take a pint or two home.

Even if it was just me I think the small is plenty big. They have plenty of seating and a fun photo op wall as well. They offer ice cream as well. The workers were nice and it was cool to see them make them in front of us through the glass. I got the Strawberry Shorty that had strawberry chocolate, white chocolate, fresh strawberries, cookie crumble, and whipped cream. It didn't have very many fresh strawberries at all, but it was delicious! My sister got the Funky Monkey that had Reese's peanut butter, milk chocolate, bananas and almonds. It was delicious also! So rich and creamy, I just wish it had more bananas with it. My dad got the Dulce De Leche that had white chocolate, Dulce De Leche filled, banana, and toasted coconut. Like the other two it was delicious! Just wish it had more bananas. We took ours to go and ate them at home. They traveled just fine and were still fresh by time we got home (20 minutes). We all liked all 3 of them and cannot wait to go back and try some different flavors.

We were planning on going to another dessert place close by but they were closed so it was a happy accident that we came here. Definitely not a place you want to miss.
