As far as FroYo places go, this one's pretty solid; they have a good selection of flavors and toppings. Any concoction you can imagine, within reason, is possible here. I may be pretty simple-I usually stick with chocolate and gummy bears, but the bears were the larger size ones, not the tiny size that I love. Silly, I know, but the ratio of frozen yogurt to bear is off with those full size gummies. So I mixed things up a bit and went with butter finger chunks. It was a delicious substitute. Service was friendly-the young man behind the counter made small talk with us while we finished creating our masterpieces. The price was comparable to other similar places. My only complaint was that the tables and benches outside were really dirty-covered with sticky, melted goo. I'm sure it's hard to keep things clean when there's a steady stream of customers coming in, but that might be something worth giving a little more effort to.

We drove 11 hrs to get here, our local yogurtland was a victim of the pandemic. This one has all the familiar aspects: self serve yogurt with toppings. The stations weren't as clean as what we are used to. Previous customers wasting product. Hand sanitizer and gloves are provided with the self serve cups.

Yogurtland is hands down my favorite froyo place! I was devastated when the sugar house location closed down. Whenever I'm in the area, I always try to stop by Yogurtland. The flavors are great and so creamy, they also have the best toppings. I'm a rewards member and they always have deals. I'm hoping a location opens by me in the future.

When you walk in you're greeted by the employees and offered a sample cup or two. Head on over to the flavor wall and choose your flavor(s) to try. Next, grab a cup, choose your flavor/flavors of frozen yogurt, and move on down to the toppings station. Cookies, boba popping balls, candy, fruit, chocolate sauce, marshmallow sauce, all delicious choices. Choose wisely because you pay by the ounce and it adds up quickly, potentially making this a very expensive treat.

The wonderful gal at the counter is a one woman show. She was fantastic. She owned this Yogurtland and recited the specials on point! She even made me sign up for the rewards card!! Best yet, when you check in with your YELP mobile, you "autoMAGICALLY" get 10% off your entire order!! Woohoo!! I recommend the TARO and PEANUT BUTTER. It was a fantastic combination. They have toppings to the "gazoo" with plenty of choices. I'm a big peanut butter cup fan so that was a cool surprise. Price is measured by weight, but I guarantee, it is sure to please your sweet "fixin!!" There are two entrances. One from the parking lot, the other from Jordan Landing aisle, adjacent to the movie theater. Enjoy and cheers! :p

Best frozen yogurt place ever!!! They always have the best selection of flavors and the freshest toppings. I personally LOVE the coconut froyo with cheesecake bites, twix, mochi & ghirardelli chocolate syrup on top. YUMMY!!! I'm not really sure what the price per ounce is, but I always fill up my cup and it's around $3-4. Pretty good IMO =)

On top is pistachio with peanuts, bottom is plain tart with coconut and kiwi, berries, and mochi squishies!

The food is alright nothing too special and I wouldn't go just for the food but the ice cream hits the spot. I always ask for a side of peanut butter or caramel sauce. We decided to take our twin daughters to have an afternoon snack after arriving in SLC after a two week camper van (RV) adventure to Glacier, Boise, Shoshone, and Yellowstone national parks. On a hot summer day, ice cream was definitely on the "must have" snack list, and Leatherby's was our first (and only) choice. Please refer to my two other Leatherby's reviews and you can simply copy and paste my opinion of their ice cream creations. This particular location has the added Mexican food option on their menu (tamales and ice cream seem an odd combo to me, but, hey, it seems to work here). This location, also, has absolutely NO PARKING - except the few street spots that you may come upon if you're lucky. Sadly, minus one star for being a pain to park. The staff were super fantastic, attentive, friendly and generally excellent. Small (but cozy) shop. The location, however, seemingly dictates the severe space limitation. Almost empty when we were there, but that might be because we visited quite early (about 4p or so). The ice cream scoop sizes were ENORMOUS!!! I might avoid this location after dark, but otherwise if you're early you'll have the whole joint to yourself.

In this case, I think it is for the better, as you can have ice cream delivered straight to your door! A month or so back I placed an online order right around their same-day cut off time of 4pm. I was so impressed when a bagful of ice cream was dropped off at my door within less than an hour! We enjoyed the following: Rocky Road features a mild chocolate base and small bits of nuts, but I never found even ONE teeny marshmallow in the whole quart (I just looked up the description to make sure I wasn't mistaken and it definitely mentions those squishy white delights!). Fresh Peach Gelato boasts local peaches from Kuwahara. Tangy, but just-sweet enough. Not quite as creamy as others, but that is par for the course with most fruit based ice creams. Oreo has mostly fine Oreo pieces, but a lot. If you had asked me, I'd have guessed my preference would be larger chunks, but I'd be wrong. This is delightful! New York Wildberry Cheesecake gelato has a great, natural cheesecake flavor. The swirls of berry are rather sweet, but tempered by the tangy base. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry was a surprising household favorite with it's uber creamy pretty-pink base and stracciatella style dark chocolate. They offer a variety of flavors, with some seasonal. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)! Can you imagine how perfect that would be for a party? There is a $30 minimum, which is extraordinarily easy to meet, and a $5 delivery charge. Go support this wonderful local business crafting such delicious treats!

It's similar to ice cream but denser and richer because it's churned in a special machine that incorporates significantly less air. It also must contain egg yolks, which many ice creams skip entirely. The result is a smoother, more indulgent texture that's in a category of its own. Nielsen's leans into that heritage with a menu that covers concretes, mix-ins, floats, sundaes, multiple sizes, and a full food menu straight out of a 1950s cafeteria. Nostalgic, ambitious, and a lot to choose from. I visited the South Jordan location and have to be honest about the full experience. The tables were dirty, the staff (mostly teenagers) were focused on the counter and not on cleaning, and the wait was long enough that I nearly walked out. The double burger was unremarkable, the fries came out unsalted, but the corn dog was surprisingly good. None of that is why you're here, though. The cherry almond concrete is why you're here. It is outstanding! Generous almond pieces throughout, and the cherry flavor tasted genuinely real, not like something from a syrup bottle. I've had frozen custard all over, and this is legitimately my favorite. My advice: skip the food, go straight for the custard. Nielsen's earns every star on that alone.
