I was recently back visiting and had to stop in for a pizza and was pleasantly surprised at how good it still was! The service is fast, the food is reasonably priced and always a solid option. I love their cream cheese jalapeño popper pizza and appreciate that we are able to customize it to take off ingredients on part of the pizza. You can also get pizza by the slice which is really nice if you're stopping in alone or with a group who can't decide on one thing! The interior is relatively small with limited seating but still a cozy pizza joint worth checking out.

Then the already-cooked pizza sits there, drying out and cooling off. So, when you walk in, there are several pizzas that look interesting and like they might be worth trying. You choose which pizza slices you want. They then toss them into the oven to heat them up. On my second attempt, the server didn't heat it up long enough, so when I received my slice, the toppings on the supreme weren't heated through. I was eating a slice that was still cool. How is this okay? Maybe if you ordered a fresh, whole pizza, you might enjoy it. I, however, haven't had a good experience either time I've been here, and so I won't be back.

The salad bar looked good, but I gotta admit, I just went straight for the pizza. Waldo's pizza crust is a little thicker than a traditional style. Their sauce has always been my favorite part if the pie, topped with good ingredients. I'm reviewing this at 4 stars, based on my past experiences along with my latest visit. I think their pizza served fresh is still one of the best around.

I also got a latte and big sugar cookie to go (morale needed a boost!) and both were excellent.
