They have the only walk in beer cave and a decent selection of craft beers, including from the local brewery. I don't go to a store to make friends so I really don't care if the clerk wants to chit chat. I'm happy if they have a good selection and reasonable prices and I can get in and out quickly. If you live here or didn't stock up before you left the Cities, Walker Bay Spirits is a good option.

It's a really shifty way to price things, I'm not sure if it's even legal to do. For instance a bottle of booze marked at $36.99 will cost $38.99 if you use a card , if you use cash the discounted price is 36.99. They do mark down items that are past the expiration date, but don't mention that it's old. I will only shop there in the future as a convenience as it's really close to me. If you want an honest price and not have to pay the credit card processing fee for the vendor go to Hackensack liquor they also give a discount to verified veterans

This is where Safari Liquors comes into the picture. After a 4 hour drive, we finally get close to our final resting place. No, we weren't dying but rather getting away to rest. Geesh, you cannot get rid of me that easily. Anyway, driving through town that is closest to our cabin, there stood Safari Liquors and I began to weep. Yes, it had been a long day of traveling.... Walked in and stocked up on what we felt we needed for the week. Unfortunately our estimates were off and we've been back several times since then. Their beer selection is what you would expect in a smaller town. I'm used to IPA's however there were none to be found. Had to go with an EPA instead. Regardless, it was cold and refreshing to say the least. The staff here was really cool and helped me to bring my purchased items to the car. That is service that I am not used to, living in California. The store is on the small side but it has basically everything you need from beer, soda, mixes and hard liquor. Conveniently located, it is still a 10 mile drive to get here from where I am staying however the drive does me some good and gives me some "me" time.
