I stumbled upon this store on accident, but I'm glad I did. It was so much fun to browse through…read moreall the vintage games and knick knacks. The employees were friendly and helpful, and there was a great selection of games, consoles, gaming accessories, anime/comics, and toys and figures. There were games for NES, Atari systems, various versions of Gameboys, PS1, PS2, GameCube, modern consoles, DS, and more. I was looking for games for my Commodore VIC-20 and didn't see any, but it's a pretty obscure system so it's a big ask. The prices were sometimes expensive but not nearly as much as eBay, and they had a selection unlike any game store I've been to. I feel like the items sold were worth the price. While I didn't end up buying anything, I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Really cool spot. I meant to update this forever ago from 4 to 5 stars. I mentioned I tried to go,…read moreand they were closed and the owner replied that they're always open during hours of operations. Our first couple tries, they were closed because of winter break according to a written sign on the door, and a second time I think they just closed early that day. (this was maybe 2019 or 2020). Anyways, I eventually made it back out that way (it's about an hour drive for me) with a buddy, and it was worth the trip. The guy working the desk was helpful and friendly. They had a great selection of throwbacks. I recommend shopping here especially if you live out that way near the kennesaw area. Businesses like this are rare, and we are lucky to have it. Good deals too on their pricing.

They're always doing…read moresomething -- it's not just a store, it's an actual community hub for collectors, gamers, and fans. They host a wide range of events like cosplay nights, tabletop and card tournaments, and other themed gatherings that keep the place feeling lively and fun. There's always energy in the room, and plenty of vendors and merchandise to browse, no matter what you're into -- cards, collectibles, figures, games, you name it. My only real critique is the space. When it's busy (which it often is during events), it can feel a little cramped. A bigger venue would take this place to the next level. That said, the atmosphere, the variety of vendors, and the consistency of their events more than make up for it. If you're into collectibles, gaming culture, or just want something different to do locally, this place is worth checking out.

If I could do lower stars, I would. First of all, I went for…read morea retro game event that promised retro game vendors, that was an absolute lie. There were 3 booths with older game consoles and games for sale; the rest of the booths had Pokémon cards. Should've labeled the event as Poke cards with a side of random games. Second of all, booth size and closure. Half of the booths were closed. I went on Saturday at 1 pm. The size of the vendors' booths is terrible, so the moment a group of two enters the booth, you won't see a dang thing that you actually want to look at. The exit and entrance are also the same route, so most booths have a terrible bottleneck if you are walking into them. Third, the odor. They had TVs set up for people to play against one another and also play some single-player games. Some of the individuals crowding this area were the most foul-smelling to graze this earth. You would think the last time they showered was when it rained. I can't get mad at the business for this cause it's their clientele, but it did not help the terrible experience in any fashion.

I felt a bit of an "ebgames" vibe -- before they went TOO commercialized! They carry a lot of comics (that are still in EXCELLENT condition), figurines, controllers, and even newer games as well (like ps4/Switch/etc). We were greeted immediately after walking in and provided a "break down" of where to find everything. The fact that they have old school arcades (which they also allow you to play unlimited for free -- and still have tournaments on) means they are okay with me! Lol! Def glad we found this place! Granted, we only purchased 3 ps2 games, but we still have a ps1, ps2, ps3, N64, and NES so we will DEF be back!

Nothing that made me stop shopping there or write a negative review at the time. However, I went in there the other day to look around, and I ended up spotting a Virtual Boy for $400, which is pretty expensive. But I recently received $400 for my birthday, so I figured what the heck and bit the bullet and purchased the system, as it was the only Nintendo system I currently didn't own at the time. The employee even let me briefly try it out, and it seemed to work well, so I bought it. After I got home, I set it up in order to fully test and try it out. However, while testing it, I realized that the right lens only shows a distorted image. However, this is only noticeable when you have your left eye closed. I tried to call the store immediately, but unfortunately they had already closed for the day. So the next day, I called at work and explained the problem with the console that they had sold me. The woman on the phone sounded very understanding and told me to bring it back, as they had a worker there who does repairs. So after work, I drove home, packed up the Virtual Boy, and headed back to the store. I even called and told them that I was on the way, and I was told, "Okay, we'll look at it when you come in." When I arrived, the repair guy plugged the console in and said, "Yeah, I see it's not working. However, there's nothing I can do." Then he called the employee that had sold me the console the previous day, and I explained the situation for a fourth time while the "Repair" guy called the owner. The employee who sold me the unit initially offered me to trade it back into the store, as they would not let me return the unit. I told him no because "I WOULD JUST BE GIVING THEM FREE MONEY AT THAT POINT" The "Repair" guy returned and told me that I have to get it repaired somewhere else, as he can only do basic repairs like battery swaps on cartridges. THAT WOULVE BEEN GREAT TO KNOW THE 2 TIMES I CALLED BEFORE I HEADED TO THE STORE. Anyway, the employee that sold me the unit also got on the phone with the owner and explained the situation. After he was done talking to his boss, he told me, "They can't give me a refund, not even a partial refund, and I couldn't trade it in because it's damaged." I then again explained that they SOLD ME THE UNIT DEFECTIVE BUT YOU CAN ONLY NOTICE IT WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR LEFT EYE. They both just kept saying that they "tested it" with all the employees and none of them noticed any issues with the unit. Then the guy who sold me the broken unit low-key started blaming me for the damage, saying that "I could have damaged it on the way home yesterday, as the console is very fragile." And I'm just standing there thinking to myself, "No way he genuinely said something so RETARDED. He gotta be rage baiting. If a simple car ride is enough to damage the unit, would it not make sense that the person that drove to the store to originally trade the unit in to them damaged it? Therefore, it was already damaged before I purchased it." He then told me "that there's not much they could do," which is pretty much the nice way of saying "piss off." I then asked, "Since you can't do much, what can you do?" and he replied by saying, "What do you want?" I asked if I could get a discount on the item or a partial refund, as $400 is a lot of money to pay for a defective item. He told me "no," so I asked again, "What can you do then?" and he replied with "pretty much nothing." The employee's rage bait is starting to work and is genuinely pissing me off at this point, so I replied, "Why would you say there's not much you can do if you can't do nothing at all?" WHY EVEN TELL ME TO BRING THE UNIT BACK IN IF YOU CAN LITERALLY DO NOTHING DESPITE BEING INFORMED OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE UNIT TWICE BEFORE I EVEN GOT THERE. In the end the "Repair" guy clearly wanted me gone so he begrudgingly filled out a punch card and handed it to me 15% off my next purchase pretty much saying next time you come in you can pay less to get scammed
