My device was running warm, and the fans would kick on after very minimal use. After running three different types of scans, checking the system information, etc., Bonom opened up my laptop and discovered the issue. The fans were completely clogged with an astonishing amount of my dog's hair. It was both amazing and disgusting to see the true power of the fans--the hair had been sucked up from leaving my laptop on my bed. Yelp, please learn from my shameful experience and don't leave your laptop on your bed for many reasons--it really does need to be left on a table. Bonom blasted it out with a special air hose, and now it's functioning like a normal, non-dog-hair-clogged laptop should. Hooray! While I was in the shop, three other customers came in. Bonom and his associate went above and beyond to help all of us. I saw them assisting one woman who was having an iCloud issue that Apple absolutely could and should have helped her with, but she was here because of the customer support and patience you'll get at Marin Computer Repair. Bonom didn't charge me for his assistance and was very much not upselling the other women I saw him help, which is really decent of him. In situations with cars, computers, or basically anything with a lot of hardware and software involved, I've often felt and been taken advantage of as a young female customer. That is never the case here, which is why I recommend them over anyone else.

Always transfer ur data and files onto Micro SD cards tape it down and save the cards in a case. Don't put ur electronics in direct sun lites use flash lites to see the issues. I paid $129 for a full diagnostic analysis, including testing my battery. After a couple hours they emailed to confirm the issue, and I approved a new hard drive installation (hardware cost $99).
