We've been there in the past and it is one of the few healthy restaurants in that area. We hoped to dine there during New Year's week. We went once, but we were told the chef wasn't there. He was "on his way.' We asked how long it would be before he arrived, and the sweet hostess called him, and it was going to be about 20 minutes. I asked if we could get some hummus and pita bread while we waited, but there was no kitchen staff available. We left. A couple days later, we called before we went--we were 20 minutes away. Again the chef wasn't there, but "was on his way." We showed up, and chef was not there and was going to be another 25 minutes. We left again. The hours posted are from 11 am-9pm. I used to order takeout from here 3-4 years ago, but they consistently screwed up my order, so I stopped. Today my friend wanted to eat there. No one greeted us at the door; we stood there for 5 minutes then sat ourselves. The waitress, who only had two other tables at the time, said she'd be with us in a minute..... which was closer to 15. She seemed spaced out the whole time and never apologized for the wait. A table came in after us and ended up leaving because she took so long. They didn't have what I wanted, ordered something else. What was supposed to be 30-45 minute lunch, turned into an hour and half, I tipped 15% , which is much lower than I normally do, but way more than she deserved. I do have high expectations because I used to be a server, but my friend was not a server and also was very displeased. It is not only this one waitress, but the entire place. Had the combo plate and the halloumi fried cheese. The chicken shawarma was probably the best I ever had. The gyro and humus was also very good, but not on the same level as the chicken. The halloumi cheese was incredible. read more

Definitely in need of some serious management at this location. Bar is a joke and customer service doesn't even exist. Sad to watch this place decompose while sitting across the street from the Grand Opera House of the South. Maybe this place operates much better during the day but one would think if a performance is in progress 90 feet away, they would be on their A Game. Very disappointing. read more

Been here many times and I love it everything I have eaten is wonderful. Favorite thing is the lamb chops. They have fish and shrimp tacos that are wonderful. I don't think it is on the menu but you ask for them. Steaks are wonderful also. My wife always orders the other stuff, grape leaf wraps, kibbeh, hummus, etc and loves everything, I eat some of hers also, haha, it's all wonderful. read more

Ordered three combination plate . Our pita bread was in the factory package , not warm or grilled . I expected to get warm pita bread when I order Greek food . They give us plenty of meats but not enough rice . I am not satisfied at all for that price . Never again !! read more

We were just passing through on the interstate 10 back to Texas and saw a sign for food that actually wasn't fast food. It's not immediately right off the interstate but it's not far. It was 1000% worth it. They made our food so quick and it was delicious. We absolutely love Lebanese and Greek food and this hit the spot. The place actually looked closed, so we kept driving but I called just in case and there was no answer. They actually called right back and assured us they were open! So glad they called us back! I did not want to settle for Wendy's lol we both got the gyro sandwich and my husband said it was the best flavored gyro meat he's ever had. It was a 10/10. This place is a must stop. Followed the signs off of the interstate to the center of town (1.9 miles). Almost turned around when it wasn't at the exit. But since we had already exited, we went for it and we were glad we did. The gyros, hummus and salad was really good. The chicken shawarma was a bit dry, but had good flavor. The pita bread wasn't anything special, but was warm and soft. My girlfriend and I pulled off here on our way to my new life in New York. Let me just say- it was an excellent decision. Our waitress was accommodating, kind, generous and thoughtful. Do not pull off the hwy to go here. Staff is nice. Food may be alright. But this is not a grab and go location like the others. Been waiting 30 min for a chicken shwarma sandwich while my tired boyfriend paces w the dog outside. We would have bailed when I walked in if we weren't reassured food would be right out. Bummer. Traveling home to Texas and pulled off the highway to follow the signs to Frosto's Diner. My husband saw the signs for Zeus and he LOVES Greek food so change of plans. And what a wonderful change of plans. I am SO happy we ended up going Greek. The decor was cool and trendy. The Baba Ganoush appetizer was great. Served with tons of warm pita bread. I had the Zeus something which was basically a Greek sampler (since I didn't know what anything was) and everything was totally delicious except for whatever they brought me before my meal. Not sure what it was called but it was super oniony and strongly acidic. Good flavor but the acid started hurting my tongue after a few bites. The gyro was the best thing on my plate and the hummus was awesome as well. My husband had the Lamb Kebab and he liked it but said he would get something different next time. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma for our son and he liked it a lot. We have a big box of leftovers and a baklava to go that we are too full to try just yet. Also, service was very fast and friendly. TL;DR Eat here if you like interesting and flavorful food. Edit (5 minutes later): We just ate the baklava because my husband couldn't stand to wait any longer. Stopped here with a small group and enjoyed a rainy day lunch. I had the gyro plate. Really amazing. And the staff were friendly. Eat outside on the sidewalk and enjoy the home town splendor of downtown Crowley, which has some really neat places to check out and some interesting architecture. read more

Overall good food. Kind of smells more like a bar than a restaurant. Food seems pretty authentic.
