My friend recommended this place to me, and I think they provided a pretty good massage. I asked for the foot massage and the guy was pretty strong. What I didn't like was the atmosphere. There's a couch but it's occupied by people on their iphones and ipads. I'm not sure if they are employees or friends of the business, but they didn't say a word. The foot massage is 20 dollars, but they asked if I want a neck massage. They didnt tell me it had an extra $5 charge and eats into the total time of the foot massage, definitely disappointed in their trickery. It's awkward sitting there and getting a foot massage, as people are loudly talking, on their phones, watching chinese soap operas/news..etc. i felt like I was in a chinese family living room. As I got stuck there due to rain outside, they offered me to sit and wait it out. It was really awkward as the couch is still filled and no where to really sit. If you dont care about all of that, the massage I got was pretty good at least. They do have a rewards card for a free body massage after 10 stamps. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROSTITUTION PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I visited this place 3 weeks ago and could hear just feet away from the NASTY BED I was on a man and woman negotiating tip amount for her to remove her bra and to perform oral sex. She said 100, he said ok. I heard the bra strap pop. And then soon after I could hear sucking and moaning. A few seconds later the woman giving me the worst massage ever shhhhshed them and said what I believe was that she could hear them. So I told her to end the massage after like 15 minutes of just rubbing up and down. No efforts to give me a massage. She went upstairs. I got dressed and went upstairs to complain about the massage. The extremely rude receptionist insisted that the lady was very good at giving massages. I disagreed and explained her method of massages, and when I said that was not a massage, the rude receptionist actually had the nerves to say, No English! I could not believe that. So I said, no problem. I'm not paying and I'm reporting and reviewing about the bad service and prostitution happening here. She quickly said what??? Immediately after a man that was sitting got up and exited the parlor. And soon after 3 men and a young woman entered and asked the receptionist in Mandarin what I believe was, what was happening. As the receptionist started to answer them, I quickly exited the parlor because they looked like gang members and I did not feel safe so I wanted to go out to be seen in public for my safety. None of them came out after me. And they are lucky they didn't because l would have called the police immediately. So I wish now that I have read all of the bad reviews about this place prior to going here. But I also am glad I did experience it for myself because I can confirm that this place should be shut down. It's clearly not a legit massage parlor. It's nasty and unsanitary prostitution parlor. Like many of people have yelped about - this place will leave you feeling a bit naked at certain points of the massage, so be prepared. This isn't your Manhattan type spa massage. For females, you are expect to strip down to only your panties. And at certain points, the panties are rolled down to half your butt cheek for a lower back massage. Once you agree to how long and what type of massage, you are asked to go down to the basement which have smaller rooms separated by bed sheets on 1 side and rooms for couples on the other side. You will hear others - either clients yelping in pain or workers speaking in Chinese. The basement looked like a scene from that Liam Neeson movie, "Taken." The scene where there were trailers set up for prostitution. If you get a female masseuse, you are one of the lucky ones. I had a male and at times it was uncomfortable. His junk did graze my head and my arms at times. But for $28 what do you expect! I'd come back next time, but only for a leg massage. This place is great but you should know the unspoken rules: 1. While the window says $20/ hr this refers to foot massage only. 2. Body massage is $28/hr and the quality will vary with the masseuse. Don't get me wrong I've never had a bad massage, but there is good and then there is great. Some of the masseuses will incorporate Thai stretching and also walk on your back. It all depends. It helps if the receptionist is in. She is generally the only one who speaks English and if you request these things she can convey your wishes to the masseuse. The receptionist generally starts at 11am and the shop opens at 10am. 3. A TIP of $10 is mandatory for all one hour massages. Just consider it part of the pricing and avoid a headache. 4. You are not here for the atmosphere. If getting a foot massage you're hanging on the first floor with all the other masseuses who are on break, and watching tv or on their phones/pads. Not a big deal if you bring your earphones or don't mind the communal atmosphere but as another reviewer mentioned it can feel like you are in a Chinese family's living room. If getting a body massage you're heading to the basement and thin curtains separating you from your neighbor. It's fine so long as you're not expecting a spa. Anyway, we ended up staying for a 1 hour massage ($28). This place is no frills and looks a bit dodgy from the outside - they only have curtain partitions between each masseuse table and the masseuses have conversations with one another while they're giving you a massage. I am also 90% sure one of the male masseuses walked in to my area when I was getting my massage...which I find really inappropriate since I was barely clothed and asked for a female masseuse. That aside, the massage itself was ok (I prefer the other location as they give a mean foot massage - this one was on the weaker side) and there were other patrons making wailing noises next to me which was beyond distracting. Tried to block out the noise. At the end I was getting ready to give my 20% tip when the cashier said that it's a $10 minimum tip. Wtf. Nowhere does it say that in the shop..and also I'm pretty sure it's illegal to enforce a minimum tip when it should be at the customer's discretion. I found this place after searching on yelp and the proximity to the LIRR. I asked for the full body massage which was $28 plus tip. I noticed a free additional 10 minutes with a Yelp Check-in. I showed this to the lady and she noded. I was extorted to a curtain room with very limited privacy. I think I waited for 5-10 minutes before my masseuse to showed up. After less than an hour into my massage she said your time is up. I looked at my fitbit and it was showing 4:17 which was the time when I walked into this place. I have been going to Zhong Huang for the last 6 years, whenever I need a cheap beat -me-up* massage in Flushing. At $28/hr rate for both body work and reflexology, we should all know what we are getting into when it comes to decor and the furnishing of the place. If you wish for a more refined experience, go somewhere else and pay more. The big issue I have with Zhong Huang is not the masseuses revealing half of my rear when they work on my lower back** but the inconsistency of the massage quality. The massages are awesome and on point as long as you tell them where it hurts the most and the wonderful masseuse will pin point on the painful areas for ya. As soon as you walk in they great youth a smile. Take you downstairs and leave you alone for about 5 min for you to get undressed. Horrible experience! Walked in for a body massage on 1/09/2022 after a long day working. Was greeted poorly by the racist girl at the counter that asked me what did I want. No hello or any level of politeness. I should have turned away and walked out but decided to stay. I asked for a body massage. She said ok go downstairs and pulled out her cellphone to call someone. I waited for her while she placed the call. She was calling a worker from another location. I speak and understand Mandarin. She walked me downstairs and said wait 5 minutes. I actually waited 20 minutes. During the wait, 3 other women had already ended massaging other people. The woman working to the left of me was clearly giving sexual favors to the male client on the bed. They were negotiating tip amount for the favors in Mandarin. I can't understand how things like that happen. Anyway, finally the lady called to give me a massage arrives. She's practically 70 years old if I had to guess. I felt bad for her so I let her do her job, something I also regret. I should have left. First the racist receptionist, then the long wait, followed by the lady giving sexual favors and now a lady that gives a terrible massage. She was hurting me with everything she did. I asked her to not use her elbow, but she argued with me. Then started insulting me in Mandarin. I decided not to respond so that I listen to what else she said. When I turned over, she starts to rub my leg and places her hand right on my private part over the towel but holding it. I move her hand. She says out loud in Mandarin, he doesn't like me touching his boy. And laughs. The other women laugh. Then she moves to massage my other leg this time removing the towel from over my private area and places her hand on my private again. At that point I no longer wanted to stay. I told her thank you. Finish. She simply said ok. As I was getting dressed, she came back and removed the cover that was on the massage bed. I was grossed out. You can see what appeared to be male fluids all over the sheet exactly where male private parts would be. This place is disgusting and nasty. No way will I ever return. No problem I can still swallow that. Again the entire process was still cheaper than what I normally pay, but I didn't like that they put me on the spot. However when I gave her another $5 she didn't seem happy with it either! Bloody hell...... So I'm not sure exactly how much tip they wanted but that really left a bad taste in my mouth. Apparently they have two location. My friend texted me this location when she meant the other location. She showed up at the other place while I showed here. But she managed to trek to this location. Anyhow, they accommodated us even though our reservation was booked at the Roosevelt Street. I got a hour body massage. Overall the massage was okay. She could've been better. People were a bit loud with the talking and I didn't feel relax with the massage. I paid $28 for a hour massage plus 20% tip which is $5.60, but I gave the massage therapist $6.00 tip. She took the tip and said something in mandarin to the receptionist. The receptionist said the minimum tip is $10... I was like wtf. I didn't feel like arguing back on Christmas Day. I handed her $5 and she took it, but stood there waiting for more! I handed $1. Which makes the total tip $12. Basically she took all of my change!! The massage was probably the best I've gotten in a long time, but like many of the other reviews say they also asked me for a $10 tip after my foot/shoulder massage ($25). Just be aware of that going in. I'd really suggest to the owner to post that somewhere so people know before they start. $30-35 dollars including tip for a foot massage here is still worth it though. There were 3 of us that got foot massages and we all were impressed. My husband and I get foot massages regularly back at home in the Atlanta area but this one was by far the the best. They were detailed and hit many spots that normally don't get focused on. Got a lot of knots out of my shoulder too. We didn't need to make any apointmet as soon as we got to the area we called & said to just come, we had a group of 5 and they were able to seat as soon as we got there.
