I called Zia Trust several years ago. I spoke with Rachel Zaslow and she seemed very cold and uncaring (probably because I am not super wealthy) and seemed ready to just sell my house when I died. I recently sent a request for e-mail contact on their website, hoping to speak with someone else. Days later, I received an e-mail from Ben Jarman. He invited me to call, so I called the next morning. I asked if he was in, and the woman on the phone sounded as abrupt and probably was Rachel Zaslow, and just said "no" and asked if I wanted to leave a message. I left both a phone and e-mail message, never received a call back nor e-mail. If he wasn't going to be in the office, she should have told me. If he is too busy to answer me back, then he is definitely too busy to take care of my money and my relatives when I am deceased!!!! read more

Zia Trust inc. Are nothing but scam artists and theives. They don't follow the wishes of the deceased, and they sold a house that had an appraisal of 860k for 555k, charging the trust outrageous charges for unnecessary work. They then evicted a friend of mine from the house that she was born and raised in instead of charging her rent (as we're the mom and dad's wishes )because they couldnt be bothered with all that. They took my friend to court lyiing to the judge about giving her a 30 day and notice and gave her 5 days to leave a home she lived in for over 25yrs. Of course Dave Long will deny this as they did the other reviews that I read. But anyone with any common sense your best bet is to not become a victim and stay clear of Zia trust. read more

They facilitated the will and trust for my mother in law. They took over four months to send her ashes to us and once they did, did not bother to give us any tracking information or heads up. Their replies are delayed by weeks and they seem to find ways to increase costs that they then charge to the trustee. read more

Zia Trust Company has not followed any of my grandparents wishes. My grandpa passed away in January 2017 and my grandma October of 2018. After her passing, it's been 3 months and they have not done a single thing besides rekey the entire house for $700 that came out of our pocket. They are withholding my grandparents trust book from our family and will not give us any information. And Dave Long showed up to their house were I reside and threatened to break down the door to get me out when they have not provided any eviction papers. They have still not done a single thing...
