Please take this review as a per person basis. After reading multiple back and forth reviews I decided to choose Ziebart for my undercoating on my new Tacoma. The sales people were great and inviting made me not question the comfortability in purchasing a very expensive product because they stand behind it.... That's where this goes south. Upon my appointment arrival date I before proceeding with my undercoating process I was pressed heavily for the upsale of other products which sounded good at the time prior to getting what I purchased. Good thing I did not purchase anymore than what I did. My truck entered the bay and everything was fine. About 3/4 hours later my car was ready to go. I thought it was strange that previous customers were walked out to their vehicles and showed what was done. I however was not .I got my keys and walked to my vehicles and inspected what was done. Yes, the truck was undercoated which is what the service that I purchased but the entire underneath of the truck was blasted with paint. It looked like someone closed their eyes and just sprayed. I was confused because I had thought they would professionally cover the body, engine, wheel wells etc. because of how high the "standards" and price is before spraying but boy was I wrong. I opened the hood of my vehicle and found the entire side of the block, exhaust, manifold and just about every pulley on the front of the motor including the alternator and belt was covered in black paint. The exhaust manifold was caked in it. Looking under the truck it was far from the "standards" promised. The tires and rims had paint on them and the driveshaft was blasted with undercoat. Even the brake rotors were covered, not to mention the driver side seat was covered in grease/dirt. I immediately walked back inside to question what happened, where the salesmen that were so nice prior did not want to be bothered. They pulled my truck back into the shop to "clean" the exhaust manifold, side of the motor, the belts, pulleys and alternator that was plastered with undercoat. And the clean the grease and nonsense they put on the drivers seat when they pulled it in. They did not offer any type of credit or empathy just told me we apologize this is not up to "standards". I trusted paying over what the market value is for a professionally done job but got a minimum wage performance. I understand the it could have been just a performance but from what I was promised on the sales side from what I got could not be more different. Overall I should have done it myself. They took a brand new truck and sprayed blindly underneath and most definitely devalued something I worked so hard to get. I'm still in shock after paying that much for something where they don't cover open exposed areas so paint cannot get all over is absolutely absurd and completely amateur, what place the works with paint doesn't use seat covered to pull in clients vehicles. Very disappointed in my experience. Would not recommend. read more

Mike and Colin Jensen are simply amazing in what they do. Mike does rustproofing and his son, Colin, does exterior paint protection procedures. I picked up my new 2020 Camry LE Hybrid on 7/16/20 and had rust proofing, sound deadening and Ceramic Z-Gloss and upholstery fabric protection applied on 7/30/20. I could not be happier with the completed work. Mike and Colin take pride in their work and it shows in the completed job. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner, Mike is arrogant and does not stand by his bad work. Don't let his nice front fool you. When I had my bedliner sprayed on he somehow damaged my passenger door when I pointed it out he said oh, bring it back and will take a look at it. So I called multiple times left messages and never received a call back and he was ignoring me so I finally threatened him then he fixed it. Also, when I picked the truck up from getting the bedliner, there was overspray all over my vehicle. He said "it just wipes off". After about a year with the bedliner on the truck that I barely ever use it is now chipping and peeling up. He told me to come in so he can take a look and when I got there, he wasn't there. So I called him and I was frustrated with him trying to explain to him that this isn't right. And he basically told me I was wrong about everything I had to say, and his response was "just sue me then". That's a nice response from a business owner. I don't even want to take my truck back to him for him to fix it because I don't trust him. So I took it to another bedliner place in Souderton and they told me there that, from looking at the Bed liner, there was no rust inhibitor used(which I was charged for on my receipt), it was barely prepped, and not nearly as many coats of bedliner as there should have been. It's currently there now getting repaired. Mike at Ziebart tried to tell me that my 20 year old truck is the reason why it's peeling off. My truck is rust free from New Mexico. The shop that it's at now said that has nothing to do with it. You can tell in my pictures that it wasn't prepped properly before spraying bedliner. Again I barely use this truck And the bedliner is peeling right off my bed rails with fresh paint underneath! This Mike is a liar, and does not stand by his trash work. I couldn't be happier with the service and experience I received from Colin and Michael Jensen at Ziebart Quakertown. They are fair, not pushy, informative and have a very clean and welcoming atmosphere at their store. They took time to explain to me all the products/options, prices and warranties on their services and answered all my questions (30 minutes+). I was able to get a great deal an older used car, but the car needed some love to bring the vehicle back to showroom floor condition and protect it going forward. I looked at a lot of shops in the Philadelphia area and it was well worth the hour drive to deal with these great professionals who truly care about the work they do for their customers. I ended up getting: Paint Restoration, Ceramic Coating on the car & glass (7-year Warranty), Paint Protection Film (Lifetime Warranty) and the Inner Guard Plus (1-Year). I spent much less than I would've anywhere else. Quality and value don't often come together in today's world, but I am so happy when I look at my car (my wife was even impressed at the overall cost). The pictures of my car don't even do their work justice! My hand just glides over the smooth body panels. After having my car ceramic coated, the water just slips off my car and practically all the water is off my car when I step out of my car after entering the garage. Vehicle undercoating is particularly crucial in the northern regions of the United States where salt and brine are commonly used to melt snow and ice on public roads during the winter. So, it was a relief for me to find a local Ziebart in eastern Pennsylvania that furnished rust protection and undercoating service. I was one of the first customers of the Quakertown Ziebart franchise when owner, Michael Jansen, and his son, Colin, first opened in 2018. They did such a great job on undercoating my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Truck that I brought my 1990 Jeep Wrangler in for the same service. This year, I also brought the Chevrolet Pickup back into Ziebart of Quakertown for a routine undercoating touch-up. When it became apparent that some spots of the undercarriage were overlooked in the annual reapplication, Mike Jansen took it upon himself to rectify the situation at no extra cost to me. In today's world, it's refreshing when a business is willing to make good on its promise for quality service. Stay stay away from this place. For $953. they were supposed to rustproof the interior of my truck body and spray the chassis which had some rust, with a material to coat what was there with a preventitive to inhibit further rusting. Into the shop at 8:45 a.m., (I watched them do the interior body panels) and I was on my way at 9:40. I asked how the job could have been done when the truck had never been up on a lift. No problem, we don't need a lift. How can you work underneath without one? When I got home I jacked up the truck and inspected. Nothing! I called and got the owner. I believe his name is Mike. I was angry and asked how a $953. job could have been completed in less than an hour & there was no evidence of material underneath. His answer: It is invisible. I threatened to publicize this scam and he promised to return $400 & credit my card. Nothing. 5 calls back. Nothing. Employee said he refused to talk to me. I'm tempted to have a very large sign put in the bed of my truck warning customers and park in front of the establishment for a couple of days a week for a month. I hate to be scammed so boldly. I do feel sorry for the employees who have to work for him. read more

This was my second job done at ZIEBART. I had my 2016 Silverado undercoated in 2019 (see my prior review). This time I had a RHINO LINER installed. There are not enough superlatives to describe how pleased I am with their work. They did a completely perfect job. I couldn't be happier. As a bonus, when it came time to pay, I was informed that as a returning customer, I would be given a discount on this service. Definitely a 5 star company and staff! read more
