On my first visit, which became my last, I noticed the receptionist/office staffer appeared overwhelmed. Perhaps this is why the office does not answer and has their answering service answer, even during regular business hours. The issue is, the answering service is not allowed to take messages; they can only page doctors in an emergency. Beginning October 14th, I tried for two days to speak to my doctor, Dr. Cheryl Stanford. My pharmacy tried, a disability advocate tried and Dr. Perez's office (a satellite office) tried. Finally, a staff member from Dr. Perez's office emailed Dr. Baula's office and I received an extremely rude and threatening phone call from the office manager. She advised I could not speak to Dr. Stanford; she stated I must schedule an appointment to speak with her for the next week. They refused to complete an Amercans with Disabilities form which had been hand-delivered on the appointment of September 30th. An ADA advocate from SHINE wrote Dr. Baula's on October 20th asking for them to please comply and complete the form. Thus far, Dr. Baula's West Coast Primary Care and Dr.Cheryl Stanford have not responded or complied with the Americans with Disabilities advocate's request.

Metaformin is free at Publix but the office changes $20.00 to call in the prescription. They put multiple changes on the bill that are including the cost of visit. He also has the patient make multiple outpatient visits. My husband selected another physician and the out patient follow-up has decrease by 50% I do not recommend him as a physician
