Service is usually okay but one of the parts counter guys is not friendly to deal with.

Be very careful with this service. Check other Kubota service departments before bringing you equipment to this one. First off, they do not stand by their work. I brought my tractor here for several services and when they did the oil change, then parked the tractor for almost a year. Turns out, they messed up the oil pan, this was confirmed by another dealer that my son took it too while he was using it in Arkansas and noticed it was leaking oil. The service manager in Denton told my son "if we messed something up, our customer's only have 90 days to figure it out or we are not responsible for it so we are not responsible for anything thing." In addition, another service I had them perform, they charged me 12 hours of labor. Turns out Kubota has that labor listed as a 6 hour job and that's the max they are supposed to charge for it. When confronted about this to the Denton Manager, my son was told, "well, we charge a flat rate of 12 hours". How unethical is this? I did not do my research and assumed that Kubota qualified their dealers and service techs. Apparently, they do not and this one is not one I would ever recommend to anyone. read more

spent over250k cash on mx5400hst cab, svl 75-2 and kx 080-4 got tractor home 3 point wasnt tight came off blew my tire off, then seeder came apart lost all seed and fertilizer, 7 foot dual wheel brush hog wheels fell off goin over terrace wasnt locked in place when assembled, svl 75-2 hydraulic couplers always leak sent to them while under warranty and was charged 7 hours labor nothing wrong traded got john deere 325g no comparison, then tractor tiller use for 5 mins clutch never slipped caught on fire had repar and was all my fault, then went to use again same thing, tractor traded in on new john deere 5075e kubota paint fades and also when u purchase tractor that date of model, so one 2 years old you buy and its 2 years newer now zimmerman van alystne, gainsville all have horrible customer support sales nice getting all cash but have no control over service oh yeah kx 080-4 also had hydraulic leak and cracked main bucket pin and sales said would fix, i got machine and fixed leak myself i call about pin john manager gainsville said if its not over 70% broke its fine on 125,000 cash machine no sir made them replace all i can say is look around other brands or kubota dealers john read more

Took a tractor in to get some pretty minor repairs done. I took it in three weeks ago Monday, and was told they'd have it in the shop by the end of the week. I called 5 days later on Friday afternoon, come to find out, it hadn't been touched but they'd get to it Monday. Another week goes by, no contact from them. I call again on Friday. (Two weeks since drop off now) low and behold, still hasn't been touched. "We will get it in early next week" they said. Pretty irritated at this point but it is what it is. Again, no calls all week. I called again today, Monday, three weeks since I dropped it off. Sure as the day is long, still haven't even looked at it. Now, 3 weeks later, I guess they've finally decided that due to losing a couple techs, maybe they'd better start outsourcing some of their workload to their sister company 30 miles down the road. Got a call from Kubota in Denton and they said they can have it in and checked out in 4 days. Losing workers is an obstacle but does not take away the ability to delegate your work load throughout the company. That's a weak excuse. Zimmerer in Gainesville "doesn't make appointments" and their shop is "first come first serve." I've been in the mechanics business for close to a decade now and that is NOT how you efficiently run a shop. That's how you maximize customer down time, and guarantee yourself that you'll have equipment needing repaired piled up outside. Leading to disgruntled customers such as myself. I heavily regret giving them my business. "Minimizing customer down time is our goal here at Zimmerer Kubota" is what the automated message says while on hold to their office. What a joke. read more
