Having never participated or trained in any martial arts, I was quite nervous walking into Zingano BJJ and Muay Thai for the first time. But from the second I walked through the doors all of the coaches and students were incredibly welcoming, supportive, and caring. Many others have said it is a second family for a reason, Zingano's is a second family and I have made many new friends and met some really exceptional people while at the academy. I started to train in BJJ for health and fitness reasons - been to other gyms where you are just a number and no matter how often you go, you are still nothing more than just a revenue stream for them. My wife suggested I give BJJ a try and I have never looked back. The coaches at Zingano's BJJ have many years of experience and are many different belt levels - but from the blue belt coaches all the way up to black belt Professor Mauricio Zingano, all of the coaches have the time and enthusiasm to teach the newest student the simplest of techniques or more experienced students the intricate details of nailing a move. This, to me, shows not only great professionalism, but also an extreme love of the art. I have not participated in any Muay Thai training, but with Thai legend Sakmongkol, if I ever would get into Muay Thai, there would be no place in Colorado where I could get better training from than with Kru Mong. read more

I have trained at other gyms over the years, but the second I walked into Zingano's I knew I had found my "home." The combination of Master Z and P'Mong is world class. The curriculum at the school is very well thought out and the instuctors can curtail the curriculum to meet any ones goals. Whether you are looking for a new way to get in shape, to compete or to fight MMA your needs can be met. The kids program is phenomenal. Having watched several of the kids classes you can see they truly love what they are doing. Aside from the instruction I like the cleanliness of the gym. The mats are always clean, a new changing room was just constructed to accommodate the many tough females who train and you can't beat a nice shower after a workout. I can't say enough about Zingano BJJ and Muay Thai. I take both Jiu Jitsu and Thai Boxing classes there and simply love it. I'm 35 years old, had not done much since high school and was a little intimidated at first, but as soon as I walked in I felt welcome and confortable. There are students of all level and classes of all levels there. The instructors are very talented, they take their time with every student and nobody in there has an EGO or bad attitude. I walked into Zingano BJJ a little over 6 years ago. Being a small guy I was looking for a martial art that would let me succeed using the other tools at my disposal. Not only did I find that, I found a home. Along with world class coaches and top notch facilities comes a family. I have trained at Zingano BJJ for a few years now, and the new location in Brighton is incredible. The gym is spacious and clean, not to mention air-conditioned (a huge plus in summer and winter). There is a great MMA cage, as well as a spring-loaded floor system for taking falls safely. This facility, plus the chance to train with World Champions in wrestling, BJJ, and Muay Thai make the decision to train here a no-brainer. I've trained at Zingano Muay Thai for about 8 months. It's awesome! They hit the perfect balance of having an open and friendly atmosphere, but still maintain very intense training sessions. Head instructor, Sakmongkol, (Kru Mong) is incredible. Top notch fighters from all over the world travel to Thailand to train in Muay Thai. I always go out of my way to train with the team at Zingano's when I am in the Denver area (4 - 5 times a year). The place is always super clean. Most gyms like this are not. If you are looking to train this is the gym for you. read more
