For many years, homeschooling felt like the right path for our family--a place where she could learn at her own pace, explore her interests, and grow in an environment filled with love and stability. But as she grew older, I began to notice subtle changes--signs that she was stretching beyond the boundaries I had built, longing for something more than what I alone could give. It was difficult to admit, but I realized that my own efforts, however well intentioned, were not enough for the new stage of life she was entering. She needed a community, mentors outside our home, and a place where her faith, friendships, and gifts could flourish. In that moment of uncertainty, God opened a door. We found St. Joseph, a small Catholic school that became an unexpected and deeply welcomed answer to prayer. From the very first day, we felt embraced--not only by the warmth of the families, but by a sense of peace we had been missing. My daughter found guidance, structure, and joy in a community rooted in faith. What I could no longer provide on my own, she found here: encouragement, belonging, and a deeper connection to God. She is now in the student council working in campus ministry. For our family, this school and parish have been more than a place to learn and worship--it has been a blessing, a refuge, and a reminder that God works gently and generously in our lives. Through the programs, the teachers, and the sincerity of this community, my daughter has grown in ways I once feared she might not. And I, too, have grown--learning to trust, to let go, and to allow others to play a part in shaping her heart and her future. Once I asked myself, whose need am I serving? It's then I realized my daughter longed to be in a new environment so she can thrive and expand her world in a safe and loving way. We are profoundly grateful for the grace and support we have found at St Joseph School. Those homeschool years were precious, and I will always be grateful for the time we shared and the lessons we learned together. I've also learned that I can be a better parent when I have a support community like St Joseph School working with me to help raise my child to be a lifelong learner and a faith filled citizen.

I attended Rosary Academy (named Rosary High School back then) from 2006 to 2010. Rosary Academy…read moreempowers young women through a Catholic college-preparatory education. Rosary graduates are ready to walk in faith and lead with confidence. They have grown as individuals, discovered their true identities, expressed their uniqueness, found their voices, and have embraced success. Students are complete, confident young women who hold Christ and Mary at the center of all they do. As a Catholic faith community, Rosary begins each day with prayer and gathers for masses as well as for prayer services throughout the year. While Rosary Academy offers rigorous academics that includes numerous AP and Honors courses, they also provide a collaborative learning environment. Teachers are very engaging and interactive during classes always playing games, singing songs, or facilitating discussions. What makes students stand out is their ability to speak their mind in class without being shut down or judged. Their voices are heard, and they share their brilliant ideas while respecting the opinions of others. At Rosary Academy, we stand in faith, we stand together, and we stand tall. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Most of what I wrote above is total rubbish and I will now go to confession. Truthfully, you will be paying A LOT for a sisterhood that a majority of girls will seek again with sororities in college. It was less High School Musical and more Mean Girls. Most teachers are very caring and set high expectations (as they should since tuition is costly). I can't say Rosary prepared me for science courses or has much diversity, but maybe that's different these days. Try and humble the privileged girls and their snobby parents. Hindsight is 20/20. Rather than throwing money down the toilet for four years send your daughter to Troy High School or Oxford Academy. Apply the $50,000+ savings towards college tuition. Cons: all girls Pros: all girls, uniforms, unshaved legs, #RosaryBun

I promised Jesus prayer and worship 1 hour a day. 4 years walking with Jesus and a Church bouncer didn't commit to any; finding events: Holy Spirit nights, Special masses, priest healing talks, retreats, worship nights, adoration nights, prayer, etc. I can name all churches left me curious and motivated in my faith. My soul and heart needed a church I could feel at home. I just felt something was missing and Jesus had a purpose and his timing was perfect. Going back to that event almost 2 years ago. The best church environment; very welcoming to all, all priests- Great guidance counselors and listener: very involved with their community, Mass well explained and the fire of the spirit lives at that church.. All around great people staff, volunteers, leaders, deacons, chorus. You are part of a family that keeps growing. I can only say thank you Jesus and thanks to St. Joseph. I made my commitment to worship and volunteer. As long as I have my sight and love in Jesus crucified for me and the salvation of the world; that is beautifully displayed inside the church. I will keep serving Jesus and St. Joseph. Thank you for every lesson, guidance, talk, confession, involvement in events- thank you all. Faith formation- Michelle you're awesome: I thank you for your trust as a Catecist and meeting such a dedicated and wonderful individual; You are helping me overcome my fears of public speaking. Hospitality/ Sunshine greeter( Umbrella) masses in English 10 am & 5 pm- Mr. Jesse times I volunteer based on my experience. Alpha course amazing learning experience for those whom want to dive into learning more or coming back to the Catholic faith. Catholic 101- Carol recommend the course very informative and Bible study with John: first Bible class and I can say for myself.. I didn't know how to interpret the Bible or would read the Bible: made the best decision after alpha to take both courses. Healing mass- Father Martin and Father Ben. Adoration 24 hours. I invite you to live your own encounter with Jesus at St. Joseph. Open your heart and experience your own encounter with Jesus thru the word of Jesus at mass or join us at an event. Let the holy spirit guide you. Bless you all, Ms. Teresita

My son is exceptionally bright and has severe ADHD, mild autism, and some oppositional tendencies. He is also kind, funny, and engaging. Before St. Catherine's, he relied heavily on his natural intelligence and often struggled with missing assignments, organization, follow-through, and accepting guidance from adults. What he needed was structure, accountability, challenge, and opportunities to learn respect outside of our home. Over the past two years, we have seen tremendous growth. His behavior at home improved significantly, he matured, became less demand-avoidant, and developed much stronger habits around schoolwork and responsibility. One of the things that impressed me most was how the staff learned what motivated him as an individual. Sister Joann found a way to challenge and motivate him when many other approaches had failed. Today, he has the highest GPA in the school, and his chronic missing-assignment problem has largely disappeared. The military structure, clear expectations, standards, and accountability are among the school's greatest strengths. Some families may initially view that structure as restrictive, but for many children, it is exactly what they need. St. Catherine's provides consistency, discipline, and character development in a way that is increasingly difficult to find. The small class sizes are another major benefit. I also appreciate the limited use of Chromebooks, the no-phone policy during the school day, and the emphasis on paper-and-pencil learning. Within the first week, I noticed improvements in my son's handwriting. Over time, he also became a better listener, paid closer attention to details, and stopped rushing through his work. Even his art and coloring skills improved noticeably. As both a Christian parent and a social worker, I care deeply about my son's emotional, spiritual, and academic development. While no school is perfect, St. Catherine's provided exactly the environment he needed during a critical stage of his life. I only wish we had enrolled him sooner. For families with boys who need more structure, accountability, challenge, and opportunities to build character and self-discipline, St. Catherine's is absolutely worth considering.
