Terrible experience! I now understand why people prefer hand washing their cars. I usually like zips mediocre wash for the convenience but now I have paid the price. I have a 2017 jeep Cherokee, great condition inside and out. There is no reason for their car wash to be so faulty that it can crack windows, my mom also had a similar experience at a zips car wash as well. And of course they don't want to take accountability, they have cameras that could prove my window was not broken before the wash and "can't access the footage" and "can't give me any information to contact someone about the footage". The guy I talked to was already brushing off the issue trying to imply I was lying from the beginning. It was completely rude and inconsiderate. I asked for help filling a complaint for the crack in my window, the man looked at me like I was crazy or something. I will be canceling my membership and I'd advise others to do the same as well. read more

I have been a member for at least 4 years & i have 4 cars on my membership & pay $100.00 a month. This has to be one of the worst locations i go to. the staff is very poorly trained. customer service is not good at all, they offer towel service and i can never get a clean towel, the they have about 20 vacs and usually only 8 might be working. if you try to get anything done as far as adding or taking a car off no one knows how to do it and you will continue to get the run around. they will hand you a card and tell you to call the # and they will help you, only for customer service to direct you back to the location. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! read more

NOTHING WORKS HERE. Don't waste your money. Zero stars. Credit card machine wouldn't work so they had someone walking in and out with your card. No receipts given or offered. No signage posted but none of the vacuums work. I literally just backed out of the zips on cane run bc of a sign saying the vacuums were out of order just to come here pay $30 for a car wash and not be able to vacuum my car. Car is still dirty, so I'm looking for a functioning car wash to finish the job. Went to get a car wash and to vacuum the inside of my car. The price has gone up again. The car wash only got about 70% of the dirt. The vacuums were not working. I got a song and dance from the gentleman working at the car wash about the vacuum being free. Funny that the sign says vacuum free with a car wash. I felt like I was being gaslighted. At every car wash I go to they always have a wand to either spray the front or the back of the vehicle. Sadly today a worker rudely said they don't and never have. This is not true. Please do not waste your time or money. I was having a company car cleaned so it could go out on the road. I needed a receipt for my expense report. Wouldn't give me one. the assistant wouldn't help me and wouldn't let me cancel and leave. The least expensive wash is $12, which does a mediocre job. You will be hard-pressed to find a working vacuum. Most of them don't have any suction because a good portion of the hoses are disconnected and laying on the ground, breaking the seal and suction. "Talkin' 'bout the car wash Car wash, yeah Come on y'all, let's sing it with me..." Who doesn't like a clean, shiny car? Almost as nice as getting a brand new car. Well, maybe not. But it is a little like a cheap, slow, carnival ride, so I try to bring the kids along when we buckle up and ride on through. Located at the corner of Dixie and Gagel, Jerry's is much like many other express washes, drive up, line up, throw it in neutral, watch the suds and giant strips of fabric slap your car clean, rinse and blow dry. Not sure what you get for the $3 express wash, as I've never done less than $9 (I like my tires all nice and shiny). A plus for Jerry's though is the free vacuum stations and floormat cleaners, a major amenity as I never seem to have change. What ever you do, do NOT sign up for their so-called "2 week unlimited service". I signed up for it in summer of 2021 and continue to get random charges for $35 almost a year later. I was told this was fixed and my subscription was cancelled back in December of 2021. I'm STILL dealing with this in April of 2022. They have no customer service number to call, and no employees at the actual store will answer the phone. They made my account go in to the negatives and needless to say I am LIVID. There are plenty of other car washes on Dixie Highway. Do yourself a favor and go to one of these instead! read more

Leaves my car clean everytime so no complaints there. The free vacuums are great when they want to work, sometimes they have little to no suction and you have to move spots or just have a bad vacuum. I got the $7 car wash but they also have a $3 wash. Customers also get to use the vacuums and floor mat cleaners after the car wash is over. My car was pretty clean except for one spot, but an employee gave me a wet rag to clean it before I left. Next time I go back I will get the $3 wash. read more

Love this place. Variety of reasonably priced washes, free use of vacuums AND a FREE MAT CLEANER. Yep, that's right, no more banging the dust out of my floor mats by hand. I just stick them in a machine and voila! They're clean. Honestly, the vacuums weren't the best (I had to move my car to use the good vacuum on my passenger side), but they got the job done. I took my vehicle (2013 Black Ford F-150) to Jerry's Express Car Wash located at 4711 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40216. Their number is 502.384.3085. A piece of equipment broke resulting in hydraulic oil all over my truck. The grill, hood, windshield, mirrors, side windows and roof all were coated in hydraulic oil. I immediately returned to the car wash to find 2 other vehicles returned with the same problem. We asked to speak to a manager, the employee helping us said the manager would not come see us; the employee offered to rewash our vehicles. Naturally, we refused. I asked for them to send our vehicles somewhere to be cleaned and I would forget about the entire incident. They refused to do that also. As we stood there, as the employee took an incident report, they closed the car wash as to not coat any more vehicles in hydraulic oil; therefore, it was a good thing we did not agree to a rewash. At this time, we could see a manager, through the windows, working on a piece of equipment in the car wash that appeared to have broken, whereby letting hydraulic fluid escape. He was trying to clean up the equipment. I popped my head in and asked to speak to him. He refused to come outdoors and speak to us. His name is Bill Reynolds and is the manager, as reported by the other employees. The other employees went back in to reason with Bill; they returned and simply said he will not talk to us. Eventually, Bill called the next day admitting equipment broke and did cover my vehicle in hydraulic oil. He offered me a $15 gift card for their car wash to rewash my vehicle. Merely running the vehicle back through a car wash would not remove the hydraulic oil that was in every nook and cranny of my vehicle. Moreover, he was comfortable allowing me to wash my hydraulic oil coated vehicle in the car wash. That would have soiled the cleaning equipment and spread it to other vehicles. Obviously they do not have their customer's best interests in mind. Accidents happen and equipment breaks. All I was looking for was someone to make it right; The manager should have spoken to us, empathized with us and taken a solution driven approach to the problem. He did none of these things. I had to take my truck to a another business, a detail shop, to get all of the hydraulic oil off of it; it cost $100 to get the vehicle detailed. This car wash is not to be trusted with your valuable vehicle. read more

Great place to get your car washed. Different wash options, free vacuums, and the wash is great and the car looks showroom new. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the wait sometimes. They have 3 lanes to enter the wash and there's times it's packed, but that IS a testament to the value, and how great of a car wash this place is. i use to go to timmys and don't get me wrong timmys is great but they need a wider track my truck can't go through because of 12" tires!!! not at jerrys i believe they can get a semi through, and in gonna tell you what this car was cleans like a mofo, and he has 47 dryers at the end so yeah they don't need towel dryers some of his dryers are even heated.. great carwash i would give 10 stars if i could.. oh and his vacuums are not only the most powerful ive ever used but he has 50 of them and they are freeeeee.. this guy thought of everything.. jerrys is the best car wash in louisville.. read more

Ok....I had a membership at jerry's until I cancelled today. My car got stuck on my last wash. I could feel the rollers going under my tires but my car wasn't moving until the car behind me hit me. This chipped paint off my bumper. When we pull out of the car wash there was three more cars pulled to the side with the same problem. Wow what a coincidence. Filled out an incident report. Today I went back to talk to the manager who showed me the video and said I hit the brakes. Well I did hit the brakes but after you see my car bouncing from the rollers going under my tires while I'm stuck. I knew something wasn't right. Then he had the nerve to try to explain to me how the track works. I'm a 43 year old man. I worked at a car wash as a teenager and have been taking my cars through them for over 20 years. It's super simple. I know how to sit in my car while it rolls through the wash. Jerry's lost a lot of business today because my whole family went there. Oh the other three people that were in the car wash wreck 10 minutes before me was at fault also. Come on who doesn't know how to go through a car wash.
