Nope- the individual inside machines work sometimes- last time there 3 of the washing 'spinners' sat idle- the 'tire shine' never worked; no one power washes the front of your vehicle like all the others. The process to cancel the subscription is designed to be difficult, no one picks up the phone that the chat bot points you to. We were supposed to get the 'premium' wash with the package we signed up for but half the 'washers' NEVER turned on - made us wonder. Oh yeah- no undercarriage wash. This place is a scam compared to the others like Club. Don't patronize this car wash - you will be frustrated and disappointed. read more

Looking for a descent car wash. I stopped at zips in derby. I would think for $32 and change a car wash would remove the bugs off the front, the bird poop off the roof and the road spray off of the back. The staff was friendly and helpful but I stopped for a clean car not a friend. Still looking!! read more

This company is trash. We went through and didn't get a complete clean, so we came back by for another pass and we're told "corporate wouldn't allow it". Horrible customer service. There are lots of other car wash companies in town - give them your money, not Zips. read more

Upon arrival, the two bay drive up for check in and payment was my first issue. I had to back up and pull forward multiple times for the sticker to read. Once I got in line, the sharp turn to get into the bay was somewhat difficult to manuever. I did appreciate the prewash that is sprayed on my vehicle before I get into the wash bay. Upon entering the wash bay, the two spinning red skirts did not move to assist with removal of dirt and soap from my vehicle. They just stayed on the side spinning but never touching my vehicle. Due to the drive area being so narrow, I may not be visiting this location again. In future, it would be advisable to have a specified entrance and exit so that people that assume a wider turn I beat will not cause vehicular accidents. read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!! UNETHICAL business total scam!!! Disorganized and so shady. I was visiting from out of town and went to purchase one car wash. The agent at the entrance asked if I wanted to buy the $15 wash. He said I would get a trail for one month of car washes for $15 and after that no more charges. I asked several times if I would have reoccurring charges he said absolutely not. He took my card information and wrote my name and phone on a clip board I didn't sign any agreement at all . The next month I was charged $37 on my VISA!!! I called the location where I signed up and nobody will answer. I emailed customer service and they kept writing back they were working on it. I received an email they would cancel my membership! A membership I never signed up for. Huge scam! Very sketchy car wash I would never trust this place or go for a car wash again. I live in California and when I visit Kansas would not use this company again. The car wash also sucks! The vacuums don't work, the cleaners were empty, no clean towels available to wipe the car down! Horrible car wash and unethical employees. I expected more from Kansans. read more

When I was at the car wash I was nervous about how the wash worked. A nice manager with a kind face came out to greet me and explained how everything worked. His personal explanation of the wash put my mind at ease and I am forever grateful. I since have canceled my membership to the other carwash I was going to (club carwash), and now I am an avid member to zips. This Is what my car looks like after i spent 14.00 on my car wash if allowed to view the photos. Smh. Because I dont see them. Honestly i want my money back. This wash was trash 100%. In the pictures its soap suds completely around the lower half of the car. The car did not get washed at all. I feel you stole my money with your automated wash machine that's is low grade that's not upgradable to continue to meet the needs of paying customers especially the monthly paying members with memberships. The free vacuuming is only to pull you in as a freemium. I'm addressing this issue because I won't be back. But since your the only car wash on the block I have a resolution for customers such as myself, "wash your own car!" or spend a little more someone where you will get the customer service and a solid 14.00 to 34.00 complete car wash. I've come to zips several times within the last year and have never had any issues with the wash before. However, upon my visit today the dryer didn't even begin to dry anything on my car. When I exited the wash my windows and windshield still had water running down them which in return left them streaky. I've been paying for the monthly basic wash membership since I started coming here and this was such a disappointment. read more

Used to pay the monthly price for unlimited car washes. Not sure what happened but now the lines are extremely long whenever I go. Takes me half an hr to get a car wash. Wash also leaves soap marks on my car so not the best wash. Was a decent price for a wash to get the salt n snow off but doesn't feel worth waiting in line forever these days read more

I had a membership for a few months and just cancelled. I had no issues back when I just paid by the individual car wash but I wanted to ease and convenience of just driving through. Unfortunately I had countless issues getting my sticker to scan when I first began my membership, and had to keep paying to get through and then getting a refund when I drove up to the wash. When I tried getting it fixed, they were not helpful at all and I had to go online to two different platforms before someone could help me. It finally got fixed, and then began experiencing issues with the sticker again a few weeks ago. Unfortunately my encounters with the staff have been less than pleasant, so it's not worth it anymore. Maybe other Zips locations in town are better, but I'd rather switch to a different company altogether. read more

A car wash of the "caliber" should have an undercarriage wash option. I paid 16 dollars only to realize it didn't rinse off the bottom of my truck. That is unacceptable in a city that snows as much as Wichita since salting the roads leads to rust on vehicles. read more

For some reason Yelp says this is a full service wash. It's not, it's a beater bar drive thru with an attendant to guide you onto the conveyor. There is a spay bar/wand you can use to block the entrance to others while you wash your car yourself before getting it beat on in the tunnel. There are vacuums after the tunnel you can use to vacuum yourself. Full service is; you pull up, get out, someone vacuums it, another rides thru the wash and wipes/cleans the interior or, does it at the end, someone at the end wipes the car down. I tip them when they're done 20-30min later and drive away. I just got the wash and it did a very poor job. read more

Yep, probably the worst in town. Washed my car and was left with white spots on car and glass, from the "spot free rinse". Attendant said "sorry, I'll tell the manager", ideally should have said, "here is a coupon for a free wash, please come back after we have had a chance to correct the situation". Maybe the situation can't be corrected, I won't know because I won't be back. Also left brush marks on back, where the dirt was not removed around the license plate and back lift gate. My daughter and her boyfriend were at the Zips on Webb Rd in Wichita, KS about 30 minutes ago. They had just gotten the oil changed in their two vehicles at the Meineke next door and took both vehicles to Zips to wash them. My daughter pulled up to the kiosk to choose a wash and pay. While looking at the kiosk choosing her wash and trying to pay (no more than 3 minutes after pulling up, no cars in line behind her) a man identifying himself as the manager came up to her vehicle yelling at her to hurry up. He started yelling as he was walking across the parking lot. He was menacing and threatening and demanded that she hurry up and then told her to leave. My daughter asked for his name, but was so upset and confused by the attack that she can't remember other than the fact that he said he is the manager. My daughter had to ask him to let her leave the line as a car pulled up behind her while he was yelling at her. Her boyfriend heard him yelling from the Meineke parking lot NEXT DOOR and came over to see what the problem was to which the Zips employee answered "Oh, I see what this is." Whatever that means! The entire situation was embarrassing, upsetting, and scary for my daughter and was 100% instigated and carried out by a Zips employee. Be sure, no one that I know will ever come to Zips again and I will be sure to tell this story far and wide. The manager of this location needs to be fired. read more

I like the convenience of going through the car wash but was not pleased with the cost. I went on 01/2-/2018. It was very busy due to the nice weather. I purchased the $9 was but it would not let me proceed until I chose a $2 upgrade (It already had my $ and there was a line of cars behind me). I'm not sure how the car wash would know what I paid for considering no one took my ticket. I'm pretty sure I was getting the same wash as the car in front and behind me. I give this place no stars!!! Worst car wash I've ever been too. I travel a lot and this place is a rip off I get that it's not going to get all the bugs off but it didn't get dirt off either. My car is a nice white new suburban and it had black streaks along the back and frontages went there to begin with but was like a thick wax or foam of some kind that mixed with the dirt. It didn't touch anything and left a residue on the Windows. I pulled back to talk to an employee and his response was you have to prep it yourself and there is no car wash in town that takes bugs off. I feel sorry for this town if that's true!! If I wanted to prep it myself I would wash it myself. I don't recommend this place. Waste of money read more
