I used Zips when they were in town, now all of the locations have closed. Prior to the closing I cancelled my membership because I was seeing micro-scratches all over my car. I don't know if it was from dirty brushes or what the cause was. Still, they were inexpensive, you could run your car through up to twice a day, and (when the thing was working) you could get through fairly quickly. My favorite part was they had super strong vacuums. Though they weren't the best, they were adequate. for daily washes. read more

Worst car wash I have ever had. Came home and the car still had dirt around the windows and running boards. Also there were soap spots all over the car. The air blowers didn't hardly blow anything off. Definitely not worth the $25.00 it cost. read more

Visited the car wash on 1/23/22 and there was one lane open. The attendant was getting the car in front of me a new card and this caused a backup in the line. The other attendant was on his cell phone. When I asked if he could pull the car in front of me out of the line so the rest of us could proceed, he says "Have some patience! (rather rudely). He continued to argue while I was trying to pay. As I left the car was still wet and felt they didnt do a very good job. Willl not be back. Nor do I reccomend going. read more

Terrible, went for a wash to clean bugs off of windshield. one lane was closed down, the card reader did not work, had to pay cash. there was one employee working really hard, he had to come see how much change was owed, run back, get change, bring change, then run back and spray SUV for pre-wash. WTH? one employee?! He was great but give him some help. Car wash was not working correctly, did not clean a single bug off of windshield. What a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY! WILL NEVER BE BACK! read more

I stopped by to get a car wash today. Just like the west zips this one does a horrendous job washing your car. Although the dryers were blowing, my entire truck is soaking wet. If I could've given this a zerostarI would have. I just paid $16 and I'm driving over to Charlie's to get a real car wash. Don't stop in. I know it's tempting because the line is very short. This is the second time I've had problems with this company. Not any particular site but the actual company itself. I told myself I would never return and I made the big mistake of returning! This time around I bought a membership that was $30 something dollars a month but it was on sale for $15 a month for 3 months and than I would have to pay the $30 and and some change which was fine. I continued paying the full price after the promotion was over. I noticed last month that they raised the price and started charging $54.99 without any notice. This company makes it nearly impossible to cancel your membership. After weeks of trying to find a number I can call to cancel my membership I was met with excuse after excuse. They supposedly couldn't look up my account just by my name and address! They couldn't find my email that they send garbage email to all time, they couldn't find my phone number in the system. They said they needed my license plate number which I didn't have at the time so I had to call back the next day. I don't have my tag number memorized and I was at work. I call back the next day and now they tell me they can't look up my account because I need the serial number off my membership sticker thats on my windshield!!! ARE YOU F-CKING KIDDING ME? WHAT COMPANY ON EARTH DOESNT START OUT BY GETTING YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS IN THEIR SYSTEM FIRST??? I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! They're whole customer service department should be fired!!! read more

I think it would be helpful to compare Zips with the other big car wash business in town, Green Lantern since they have very similar car wash packages for similar prices. Both car washes provided about the same level of top tier service for around $15. You get your car machine washed along with some sort of tire treatment and rain-ex application. GL offers additional services like extra shiny tires and interior cleaning. Initially, it seemed that the main difference was that Zips provided free self vacuuming whereas GL charged to do the work for you. Seeing how GL's vacuuming was basically a once over (even if you move everything out of the car for them, they still will leave hair and gravel behind), I didn't think it was a bad idea to do my own vacuuming and other interior cleaning. Too bad the vacuum I used sucked...or barely sucked. Whatever. Other things that made Green Lantern's result look like detail work in comparison: - Spot residues after exterior dried though they advertised otherwise. - Machine wash did not remove bug bits. - I could not tell that the tire shine did anything. Did they dilute the Black Magic solution? - Ditto with the Rain-X treatment. The water did not bead up more so than pre-treatment. With each failed Zips bullet point, GL succeeded. And after I put the work into cleaning the interior, I would much rather throw in another $10 for GL to do it for me. Even if the work isn't perfect, it's a heck lot better than when I do it. The only redeeming thing about Zips is that I got a free car wash code...perhaps b/c I bought the top package? So I'll be back to wash my other car, but I think Zips car wash is not that much better than QuikTrip's. read more

Not horrible but not very good. Green Lantern is SO MUCH better. Zips left dirt, spots, bugs, and soap on my car. At GL I pay the extra $10 for Exterior Supreme and my car looks detailed compared to Zips. Spotless! Zips is no better than any crappy gas station wash. read more

I like this car wash but when I just went there they had one lane closed for maintenance and the other one had one of the workers chit chatting with the person at the front of the line. This obviously was not a business chat but was probably a friend or acquaintance. I waited over 5 minutes and they kept chatting and ignoring the growing line in the lane. I was far enough out that I could back out and leave but who knows how long that poor woman stuck behind the jerk at the front of the line had been waiting or how she was going to get back out if she wanted too. This is a place of business, not a park or somewhere else where stopping and chatting is okay. The idiot at the front of the line was inconsiderate, the worker was a lousy employee. read more

Good for a regular $6 wash.Quick, easy but bring 5 dollar bill plus a one or it's not as zippy.

It's an automated car wash, so don't think you can go around smashing bugs for a month without washing your car and expect it to look like a $100 detail job. It is what it is. If you get an unlimited membership for $15 a month, and go often, you can keep your car clean enough though. Best advice I would give anybody who uses a wash like this is don't go in the dead of winter when it's below freezing... it doesn't matter how soft the fibers are on the cloth that contacts your car, if it's iced up, it's like beating your car with icicles. The air dryers could be aimed a little better, but I usually hit the highway right after going thru, so that helps keep any water spots to a minimum. I rate so high because I had to get the RFID sticker replaced, and removing it actually stripped a portion of the window tinting off my windshield. The manager, Quentin, was able to make it right by me, though.... and good customer service keeps me coming back every time. read more
