First time at Zoe Grace for a makeup application appointment. A unique place tucked in Fort Mitchell that offers a variety of beauty services from hair, makeup to facials etc. When I came in for my appointment I was greeted with friendly staff and the vibe of the salon was clean and relaxing. It's different from your typical salon. It was quiet and they have nurses on staff for the advance Beauty and cosmetic treatments. Elise was my makeup artist and she was wonderful. Update- the salon saw my review and called me in addition to their note below. I really appreciate the intentional efforts to correct this experience. We discussed what happened, I sent photos, and they offered a refund and another correction. It says a lot when a place of service takes so many steps to make it right. I've decided to update my review because of their efforts and because I have had good experiences there prior. Maybe one day, I'll return. Excellent customer service goes a long way! Honestly, I don't post bad reviews typically. But when you pay hundreds of dollars and expect a certain outcome, and it's botched.... It is what it is. I had been going to Zoe Grace for a bit. A few times, some small errors were made but my stylist was nice and so I kept going. This last time was egregious. 3 hours later and literally the opposite of what was discussed. So she offered to fix it. I went in again, 3 hours later and it's completely botched and I have hard lines of where the dye is on top of my head. So, back in foils I go. I come out and just deal with it because 7.5 hours is my limit.... Within the last week, I've found so many parts of my hair that look like I slapped bleach everywhere myself. I've never seen my hair look so blatantly bad.... And I've box dyed it myself many times. This is my birthday hair.... My anniversary hair. And I'm going to have to drop more money and more hours of my time to fix it elsewhere. Nice people, bad hair. read more

I visited Zoe Grace Salon last night, and I'm so glad to have found such a comfortable, approachable salon close to my home. The processing area has coffee, phone chargers, and massage chairs. I'm not sure what else I could ask for during the unpleasant task of coloring my gray hair every 4 weeks! Sam was my stylist and I am so glad to have found her. Best find ever! This Salon is so unique from any I have been to before (and I have been to many) . There is so much talent and professionalism along with just really nice people. Everyone here is a team and they visibly reach out to help each other at every turn. I have become a dedicated customer for hair but now with the Med Spa services it is even better. I just completed 3 Secret RF treatments and at 61 I can say my skin has never looked better! I have gotten peels and use great skin products regularly but this treatment has pushed me to the next level. I typically wouldn't say anything but I just recently got an eyebrow wax and tint I was crying it was so bad. Everyone there is nice and the saloon is clean I can't comment on other services but I paid more than what I normally would because I thought I would get better results. But the results were worse than other places I've been to. I had never cried over a bad service but this was horrible. Just don't let this place touch your brows. read more

I had Hunter as my stylist today and he was phenomenal! I make an appointment for a silver package (shhh! No one needs to know I have help!) but definitely worth every moment. They do a color match & consultation before you get started, explain the plan with potential poor outcomes (none happened - duh!) & then got started. I'm a bigger hipped girl and the salon seats and chair s at the washing stations were not tight at all (girls with thick thighs & wide hips will completely understand this!) Hunter was GREAT!!! He brought new life into my hair with a biolage highlight after fixing those roots! He educated me every step of the way about what products he was using and which one's I could benefit from! I know it's still the same day as my cut & color but Hunter also recognized my wavy/curly hair and gave me a cut that will work well with my curls (GIRL you KNOW curly hair cuts are hard to get right! After admiring my two daughters' hairstyles many times, I finally had to pay a visit to their designer and check out Zoe Grace Salon. Gorgeous salon and really convenient location! Love the fresh, open, soothing interior with such attention to providing comfort and convenience for clients. The products they use have such wonderful aromas! I enjoyed the shampoo and the scalp massage with focus on the stress pressure point in my neck, thank you very much! Elle freely shares knowledge and expertise about what can enhance your appearance, like exactly what to do to make those cowlicks be obedient, what products to use to help with styling and maintenance, designing my hair to make an oval out of a round! I came away with a much better shape to my "do", hair that just "lays" better and an updated look for my already-short hair. I love Zoe Grace Salon. The stylists are talented and I've never had anything resembling a bad experience here. The chill out area is great and I love the free diet cokes and comfy massage chairs. The stylists give you a free head massage even if you're just there to get your bangs cut. The girls I've worked with are Jensen and Tiffany and they do a fantastic job with blowouts, cuts, and color. The salon's products are expensive, but they don't force them on you. However, I've liked every product I've purchased there and continue to buy them because they've worked and improved my hair. Ella has been making my hair look fabulous for the past five years. She knows how to give young adults a fun, low-maintenance style. My appointments usually consist of a cut and eyebrow wax, but I've also gone to her for special occasion up-dos and coloring. I really enjoy the long, relaxing scalp massage she gives during the shampoo. She also asks a lot of questions about your cut to give you exactly what you want. The best part is that Ella is a one-woman operation. Based out of Salon Concepts, she has her own spacious private suite rather than working in a salon assembly line. She also only uses hair products that she likes, rather than what the salon is promoting. In addition, she offers discounts if you get more than one service in a visit. Men: you can visit Ella too! Some of my male friends are long-time clients and she gives them stylish, low-maintenance cuts. You can find Ella's suite inside Salon Concepts in Florence, located between the Walmart and giant Fifth Third building on Burlington Pike. Almost $700 and they overprocessed my hair gave me a Brazilian blowout that did not work and I have a letter from another salon stating that... I called and left a message and asked nicely if they would call me back so we could talk about the money I paid and no return phone call... The staff there was very considerate who I'm talking about is the owner and only the owner. They had me come back because I sent pictures of my overprocessed hair and they agreed they tried to fix it but didn't... my hair is ruined. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. They really saved the day! My sister and I were recently in a wedding and there was a misunderstanding about he makeup situation. Zoe Grace was able to not only squeeze us in THE DAY OF, but tag teamed two staff members (including the manager, I think) to get us in and out as quickly as they could while still doing a wonderful job. They were both very talented, and did a nice job with the airbrush machine and using the right color palates. I'm not very good at makeup or makeup words, but I can tell you they made me look and feel pretty for the wedding! Also the place was incredibly clean and chic, and the person working the front desk was welcoming and friendly. The salon is really nice and new,but you are paying for that in the price of your service. I got a shadow root and cut and it was $250. I went when they first opened to try it out and see if this could be my new place to go. But with that price there's no way I could afford to come again. I actually had to come back for a correction bc my blonde hair became too dark. For the price I paid it was just a big turn off and I won't be returning. read more

Absolutely amazing salon! Everyone is extremely friendly from the second you walk in the door and also very knowledgeable about the products. I love how my stylist takes the time to explain everything to me and can easily recommend options I may not have thought of originally. Lastly, I'm a flight attendant and travel constantly for work, making scheduling appointments difficult, but never here. She clarifies and discusses her expert opinion if she thinks something might not turn out as you hope. She also explains future maintenance of a daring style. I highly recommend Zoe Grace Salon and especially Rhonda. I only had a general idea of the cut and color I wanted and definitely needed help. Rhonda really listened, considered the shape and angles of my face to suggest a flattering cut, and gave me realistic expectations of the color we could achieve in that one visit. She gave me a tour of the salon, which is bright, clean, and a lot of thought went into the design and lighting of the workspaces. They offer snacks, drinks and massage chairs to sit in while waiting for color to process, and a relaxing head massage during wash out. We didn't chit chat too much, which I appreciated because that gave me time to read my book, but she made sure to explain the different cuts and color steps she was taking. They proceeded to tell me it was a hormone issue (I just had a baby) but this is the only salon the copper issue had occurred. Friends and family encouraged me to call the salon to request a refund as I had to get it fixed somewhere else. The owner wasn't available the day I called and I was told she would call me back. Two days went by and I decided to check in again. The owner tells me it's been too long and their money back gauantee isn't valid. It's unfortunate when your friends look at you and say WTF happened to your hair. It's even more unfortunate when you pay that kind of money! read more
