Our dog isn't a hunting dog so we weren't sure if a place named Absolute Gun Dogs would be right for her, but she loves it here and they take great care of her. Quite honestly, hanging out with other well trained dogs has been good for her. Our dog has been going there for six years and I've always felt like Absolute has cared for her like one of their own. If you are looking for a place to board your dog overnight or doggy daycare definitely give Absolute a call.

We called Absolute Gun Dogs, and they were more than happy to accommodate our dogs for the next couple days. The facility is about 20 min out of town, but it's a great isolated area which makes sense. And while the main focus of theirs is dog training/breeding, they have a beautiful boarding facility as well- the grounds were kept clean and presentable. When we came to pick up the pups we were greeted by the owner, who gave us a quick summary of their stay and interactions with our fur family (proving they pay great attention to your pet). Really, my only complaint was that it was cash only. Other than that, it was a great experience!

Last Wednesday, I called for grooming appointments for my two dogs. I was speaking with Anna…read moreherself and she stated that she is now using online booking and that I needed to book through her program. I proceeded to enter both my dogs into the system and prepared to book the services I wanted for the dogs, one being a Samoyed mix who required a de-shed. I selected the de-shed option for him and the price was $125. I scheduled them for Tuesday, 6-13-23 and also had to pay a $25 reservation fee for both dogs and decided to pre-pay my tip. I had to agree to the charges and terms of the reservation. I used this business last year and the groomer does an amazing job. On Monday, 6-12-23 I received my conformation emails and confirmed that they would be there Tuesday. A few hours after confirming, I received a call from the groomer, not Anna, stating that she has decided to raise her pricing. That now I would be required to pay $89 an hour for the de-shed. His de-shed takes approximately 4 hours. I couldn't believe that Anna would have a groomer call to give me this news and I requested to speak to Anna. Anna called me about 15 minutes later trying to tell me that I would be paying the $89 not the agreed to price online. I stated to her that was not going happen, and Anna preceded to continuously interrupt me and then she hung up on me. I was only a mile from her shop and drove over to speak to her in person. Anna told me to sit in a specific chair and proceeded to tell me that her pricing online was wrong, that she spent 8 hours a day trying to figure it out and I responded with that was not my problem. I scheduled per her request online and accepted the terms and pricing. She kept telling me that she could not talk to me as I was trying to explain to her that her lack of professionalism and attitude toward a customer was totally out of line. In the middle of a sentence she grabbed a dog that was on the floor and proceeded out the door, left me sitting there. I got up and followed her out of the building, still trying to get her to understand that what she was doing was not how one ran a business. I did tell her that she needed to come back to to earth and have some perspective. She said that she was canceling my appointments and I said that would be great and I would wait for them to be canceled to get a receipt. She then told me to get off her private property, which is not private when you run a public business. Anna is a very unprofessional business owner who used all sorts of ploys to get out of the situation she created. If she treats her customers this way to their face, how are the animals getting treated? I did receive my $50 reservation fee back, not the pre-paid tip. That will be handled differently if not returned. Spare yourself the wrath of Anna when she can't get her way. PS...I went to the booking section today to see if she changed her pricing, now there is no pricing listed for services.

I have used them for boarding as well as grooming and have had great experiences with both. I…read moreboarded my two dogs for a week and loved that they have cameras in the play areas so I could keep an eye on them during the day. It was my first time using boarding and it definitely helped put my mind at ease. I really appreciated that they were able to groom my golden retriever as well so when I got home I got to pick up a clean, soft pup! I also liked that they let my two dogs share one "room" which not only made them feel safer being together, but saved me some money. Overall the cost for boarding was very reasonable. I just brought my newly adopted, 125lb Newfoundland in for a groom and they did such an incredible job, in a timely manner. It was $175 which is a good price for such a big, furry dog. Overall I have been very happy with their services!

Horrible experience!! Dropped my dog off for the day and picked her up at pickup. She was covered…read morein her own vomit and the worker told me she threw up five times that day. NOBODY CALLED ME OR A VET. I dropped off a healthy pup. When I asked why she didn't call me she blamed another employee. I also found my dogs bag of food full on the desk where I left it- nobody fed her or even bothered to clean the vomit off of her. My active and friendly pup was afraid of other dogs the following day after daycare and would bark at other dogs (she NEVER barks). I picked up a totally different dog after only 7 hours at this place. To make it worse, I called a different daycare to sign her up elsewhere and they told me a lot of their customers had SIMILAR BAD EXPERIENCES at Unleashed. When I asked to speak to the owner they said no and that she would be in Monday. I texted the number it said to on their website and I was IGNORED. They treated my dog like crap, didn't feed her, and then refused to hear my concerns. this is absolutely unacceptable.

Not only did we get a free meet and greet before we left, we came home to a sincere note about how the visits went while we were gone, homemade dog treats and a pic of each of out pets. We would recommend them to anyone! We moved here almost a year ago from out of state and have never known of a pet sitter who would care for pets on such short notice and is so detail oriented.
