We had just finished wine tasting near Yakima and we wanted to do some shopping before dinner. A pet peeve of mine is that many stores on the east side of the state are not open after the wineries close (at 5 or 6pm) and closed on Sunday. I really don't get this, everyone needs a day off and time for church, but I wonder if the stores would be more successful if Monday was their day off instead of Sunday when the tourists are in town. Anyways, I digress, Gretchen was just closing at 5 pm and we drove up and she stayed open for us. I found a gorgeous knit dress in two seconds and ended up buying a great sweater for work and fabulous scarf in addition. Gretchen was so nice and easy to talk to as I looked through her tastful clothing. She suggested some items for me to try (really cute) and we talked about brands that we love. The dude running the place is super chill and does a great Job of staying up on trends both new and retro. Who does that to a disabled new widow and then yelled at her when we tried to get them to leave it... Do not trust or do any business with this company.
