Went into Target to get a phone case for my phone. The price on Target.com was lower than in store price. Took it to check out, told the cashier the price online and they honored it. No arguments no second guessing me at all with the price I gave them. I was in shock they honored the price. Walmart needs to get with it seriously, thank you Target. What strikes you immediately is the dull lighting, dirty floors, toxic bathroom and unstable shelving - this Target hasn't been updated since the 90's and that includes a self-checkout area as you're standing nine deep next to a customer with a "Buck You" tank top. Stay classy, Yakima. read more

Very standard Target - good selection of most things you need, a decent food and produce selection and a good number of items that are trending towards novelty items, but that you may find a need for. Literally just returned some oatmeal bars because they were expired...went to get a new box and several others were expired. I got one that wasn't expired and did some grocery shopping while there. I don't know why I didn't learn my lesson the first time but not one but BOTH of my packages of rice are expired. I see a trend here but I'll shut my mouth before I say something rude. Also, again its my bad for not checking, but my veggie bag (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) expires in 1 day. Expired healthy food items...probably don't get much sales at this store but I would hope their employees are trained that when they pull product on shelves to the front, they should check the expiration dates. Oh my gosh, I love target. Dont think that I've always loved target. its something thats grown on me. i used to think "oh riight another ghetto store like K-mart. great." I was so wrong. lol... I didnt notice their cute clothes for the longest time, and now that i have ive noticed they have THE cutest clothes, for relatively cheap. Alot of these styles you would NOT find anywhere else in Yakima, which makes me sad. They even have really cute kid's clothes, that are trendy, which is crazy! I never got to dress trendy when i was a kid! Anyways, I digress.They have toiletries, including contact solution and cleaner, they have household items that are also usually quite trendy and cheap, they have videos and video games and consoles, they have accessories, including scarves, earrings, and purses, the list goes on and on. I get all of my cleaning supplies here because its cheap and the quality is still pretty good. They also have pet supplies and food for cats and dogs. They have SMALL selection of food just fyi.. its mainly snacks and that sort of thing..... Anyways, make your way down to a target! read more

This has been my store for years. I prefer this over Walmart. One is if you ask for help. You actually get help. Most of the Team members actually know where stuff is. I have used their pick up in store and go both in store and drive up. The only issue I found with drive up and is probably the same with pick up in store is nothing frozen or refrigerated. Which sucks. Because sometimes you can get house stuff cheaper if you choose pick up and depending on how Much you are buying you might have to go through two lines. Not saving time read more

First time i shopped at your store today, with my family. Your LP and deterrance specialists are way to aggressive. Your first couple made direct eye contact with me, you could tell they were pretending to be a couple. After the woman made eye contact she sped away from her partner and i immediately had two men behind me. After i asked them if they were going to follow me out of the store, the one in front of me clenched his fists and looked back at me and his partner walked right up behind me. I dont appreciate having my personal space violated, especially while my children are present, its disrespectful and pretty stupid after what happened with George Floyd, dont you think? It's Target, it's what you expect. We waited in line for about 10 minutes to checkout and when it was our turn a "Manager" walked up and turned off the register light and said "This register is closed, we will help you on (Register#)". I was kind of confused but went in that direction. The register I was sent away from was then used to ring up an employee and the register I was sent to didn't have an employee. The Manager and employee at our original register joked and laughed and had a good time as they rang items up. We sat at the checkout counter that had a light but no employee for several minutes. Eventually a cashier came and without saying a word, rang us up. We paid and left. Walmart must do employee training for Target. read more

Thank goodness Yakima had a Target. It gave me something to look forward to in such a dismal, miserable town. Nobody here asks if they can help you. You're lucky if they look at you when you're checking out. Eventually I stopped patronizing Target and going to Fred Meyer's. What can I say? You can get pretty much what you need here for a decent price. i'm an ex employee, i was homeless for some time and i was dealing with my health and my partners health (we both have chronic illness) in the mix of all of that and being in and out of the hospital and urgent care 2 days at least a week. i communicated that to to them and their culture specifically is all about equality for all workers and their customers regardless of race, religion, DISABILITY, identity and political views and i was all for that as someone who is queer and disabled. i gave them all of mine and my partners doctors notes and constantly updated the ETL in my department about everything and they seemed very understanding. well they let me go for missing work and i asked them again if they were aware of my homelessness at the beginning of my employment there and me and my partner being in and out of the doctors and ER and they said yes. so much for company values. so if you're disabled and get sick a lot like me and are in and out of the doctors and hospital just know that Yakima Targets Upper Management does not care about it even though it's in their core values and culture. I'd like to give some shout outs thought to the team leads who were amazing and made working there so much better and those people are Wesley, Jen and Michelle and my friends in made there who i will not name. the 5 stars are for those people. if it wasn't for them i'd leave 0 if i could. read more

I really like to shop at Target. The store itself seems clean and well organized, but the bathrooms are dirty and they smell. They really need to be remodeled and kept clean or, at the very least, deep cleaned and kept clean. They are disgusting and hurt Target's image. read more

I have pretty mixed feelings about this store. The store is open, clean, and what you would expect from a big box store. The staff is nice enough and that smell of popcorn is always temping when you walk in! Target had long been a staple of the Yakima valley as a solid choice for a superstore, but I recently had an awful experience. Historically, this has been my 'go-to' place for a big box store. So why the less than stellar review? The service counter has been merged with the normal checkout lanes. Instead of just returns/customer service line, this line is a remarkably less efficient hybrid of the two. I placed an order online and it took longer to pick up my item in this line than it would have to find the item myself and do a normal checkout - which seems to defeat the purpose. To top it off, they screwed up my order and gave me the wrong rug. Instead of taking it to the customer service counter (which no longer exists independently) - I was told I'd need to wait in line for my turn. After flagging down a random employee, I was informed that I should go back to find the correct item and wait through that painfully inefficient line again. To up the ante, they had to get a manager to approve the transaction since they gave me the wrong item to begin with. Total time in store = 50 minutes to pick up a rug! Yikes. At least Walmart gets my online orders correct. Hopefully this was an isolated incident that won't happen again, but it'll be a long while before I head back to Target! . read more
