Good place to shoot. Knowledgeable staff. Stalls were a little small and only good for one shooters…read moreat a time. Even though we had 5 shooters in a two stall shooting range. Otherwise I would still shoot there and tell others to try it out.

And I am not saying that they all were, but if you're the first impression and handing out intake forms at a shooting range, you better look and sound like you take your job, or at least your tasks, seriously. And there is a reason why I am bringing this up first. *Safety - I am happy to be alive to write this because some careless !#@&$ in lane 2 decided to aim her fmj-loaded pistol sideways trying to fix a jam, ready to take out everyone from lane 2 to 10. It was another customer who called the cease fire but someone who worked there should have seen that. Someone from the range came out eventually but I would have made that person watch the video again or ejected them from place at my discretion. I do not play! *Sound - This was the loudest indoor range ever. My friend and I felt like we had to put inner earplugs and then over-the-ear earplugs. *Target retrieval system - kind of janky. Every time I recalled my target, the paper would fly into my face. *Pricing - reasonable but they have things to improve to really make it worth it.

520 Tactical - It's probably been six months since I've been to the range so I'm not too sad about this, but clearly I'll be making a few more visits!

Eva is a great instructor!…read more I took the Firearms Safety and Basic Pistol Shooting Course. It was $135 for 5 hours of instruction. There were 9 participants and two instructors (Eva herself and a young man named Elias). 2 or so hours were spent in the classroom, 2 or so hours on the range (it was at an outdoor range near Tucson). Instructor: Eva is super nice! I was a bit worried before I took the course that I would be intimidated and get stressed out but Eva is so sweet and was joking all the time, which made the class super chill and fun. Other participants: There were some very nice older ladies, some elderly gentlemen, and two 30-somethings. They were all nice. Most of them were shooting for the first time. What was covered in the classroom: Basic safety rules when handling a gun. How to load and unload it. How to aim and shoot. The different parts of the gun and how they work. The different parts of the cartridge and how it works. Some other things. What happened on the range: We split up into two groups. One group was instructed by Eva, the other by Elias. I was in Eva's group. The participants took turns and got personal instructions. Eva told us what to do, watched us, and corrected our grip, stance, aiming, etc. I shot 5 times and about 40 rounds total. Btw, you need to bring your own ammunition or buy it from Eva (it's not included in the price of the course). First, I shot a .22 caliber (forgot the name), then two different 9mm calibers (a Glock 19 and a S&W Shield), then two revolvers of different sizes (forgot the names). Some people brought their own guns but it is not necessary to do so; you can use Eva's. Breaks: During classroom time, Eva did a break every hour for people to get a snack or go to the bathroom. During range time, since participants take turns, you can just go to the bathroom or whatever when it is someone else's turn. Eva also provided some snacks (granola bars, water, and gatorade). But I recommend you bring your own snacks unless you had a big breakfast. I recommend this course. I think all participants had a good time.
