GO CHECK OUT ZONIES!!!!! While in Sedona in late Sept 2024 checking out the downtown shops, we wandered in Zonies and loved everything about this shop! With their help, we purchased a beautifully handcrafted wall metal art piece and a handcrafted Mesquite lamp. Once back home, we realized to complete the look we were going for in our den downstairs, we needed a 2nd metal art piece and a few more lamps. We called Fran and Keith to explain our needs. They were fantastic - helping us by sending pics and giving suggestions to help us make our other selections. In Spring of 2025, we made a few upgrades to our upstairs and added a few more lamps. Thank you so much, Fran and Keith, for being so patient and FABULOUS to deal with through this whole process. We are thrilled with the special additions to our home!!! This gallery is gorgeous! The owner Fran was so helpful and kind as we selected a luminous standing blue calcite lamp. When we got it to our house, the light coming out looked darker than in the store, so Fran offered to come to our house and adjust the internal light bulbs for us so that it was perfect for us. Few gallery owners would have done that! She could not have been more generous. Everything in the store is made by talented artists and Fran gives you such caring attention and assistance. This is a true gallery with wonderful and quality artwork, jewelry, pottery and so much more. It's not a tourist trap at all. We visited in March of 2024 and it was such a beautiful experience. We had walked through so many different art galleries and hands down, Zonies had the most beautiful, unique, well priced local art in the area. Fran, Keith and Jonnas knew about all of the artists that they featured in the store. Kindness just radiated out of them. I bought several pieces and they shipped two paintings for us. The packaging was excellent and fast. They also went above and beyond when I left a painting at a local restaurant and Keith walked down the street to the get it and ship it for us after we had left the state. By far one of the better shops in Sedona. Almost everything is made from local artists, you can defiantly find one of a kind pieces. The two owners are very friendly in a chill not in your face kind of way, they're helpful without being overbearing. We walked in and the woman at the register said hello so I turned and smiled. She THOUGHT I looked at her and ignored her so she started to talk about me behind my back to the other person working. She was whispering about "that girl" (me) and said something like "don't be rude to me in MY store". I was around the corner and heard everything, so I asked her if she was talking about me when we were paying at the register. She looked at me angrily and nodded. I apologized and said I smiled and she basically dismissed me. I told her the way she was treating me made me feel horrible and she gave me a half hearted apology. I've never had a person working at a store I was shopping at make me cry before this. I hate Sedona. read more

This is a great place to look for unique artwork. In addition, the customer service is beyond excellent. I bought a beautiful piece of wax pottery, something I had never seen before. It was supposed to come with a stand, but when I got home to Phila, there was no stand in the bag. I called Zonies to let someone know and spoke to Mitch, the owner. Great store in Uptown that sells items made from local and Arizona artists. Nothing in this store is imported and is what makes this store so unique. Unfortunately Sedona has become so commercialized that most of the stores carry the same cheap foreign made items and screen printed t-shirts. My friend and I visited Zonie's in May, 2011. Becky had to drag me out of there because in her words,"You are getting out of control!". And I don't even like to shop. Their pottery in muted colors of the sky and earth, their handmade Native American dolls, the unique votive candle holders, the colorful wall plaques invoked feelings of peace and serenity. Just got back from Sedona and saw many beautiful sights except for one that took place in this store. I witnessed the epitome of bad management. The shop owners of this store do not understand the first rule of running a business -- The customer is always right. Even if they are wrong they are right! Granted the customer that they were arguing with shouldn't have gotten in their face, but the shop keeper should have not started in the first place because, again, the customer is always right. Of course, reading the owner response to another review, I can see that these owners are the argumentative type. The response by Tiffany L. (owner) below, gave an empty apology to the customer complaint eventually turning it back on the customer and blaming Micaela G, not only for eavesdropping into a private conversation between her and her husband, but then accusing the customer of posting too many complaints. Their only saving grace into staying in business is that their store is located in a trendy, tourist area where people mindlessly walk into business after business looking for trinkets without checking reviews first -- the owners virtually get a re-boot every time a new customer walks into their store. If they were a destination store they would have lost out to their reputation long ago. read more
