SO Let me give you background information first…read more I booked October 28 for November 10, I know almost 2 weeks is short notice, but my husband was having surgery Monday, and the holidays were coming up so we needed pictures. they said absolutely, so I went along with it. they even followed up days later with a text saying 10, on the 10th at the wetlands... this business stood my family up for a photography session. I thought, maybe they are on the wrong side of the park (so I sent them my location) then I thought maybe there was an accident, we stood in the parking lot praying for them in hopes that if they were of any trouble, God would bring them through it. SO Imagine my hurt when I saw the picture on her instagram saying "book a session with us" 6 hours after they stood us up. So I sent them a message, (see attached) and recieved no response. They booked an appointment, They agreed to a time, They let us drive 30 miles from home and then rejected our calls, refused to respond to texts, messages on social media, or emails, and then when they posted hours later about booking your next session she still refused to respond to anyone who contacted her about the issue. I actually waited 4 days for a response before posting this review and they BLOCKED me. When 6-10 family friends tried to reach out to them they responded anxious to book photo shoots, but refuses to get back to us, as a matter of fact... when I reached out to her to try to mend the wound nicely in hopes that she'd extend an apology... she blocked me. . Could you imagine paying for hair and nails, outfits... wasted once your family was waiting and stood up by a "professional" take your money elsewhere. Don't do business with people who stand you up once you've already compensated them right before the holidays with only 1 good review and pays Instagram for advertisements so she has 5,000 followers (my bank refunded my money and I found a PHENOMENAL network of photographers with hearts of gold).

He picked up his phone a couple of times, saying, "oh I am driving now, let me get to my desk, look at my schedule and I'll call you back in 20 mins" He didn't call back, nor picked up the phone when I called him later in the day. I ended up loosing my money to groupon credit, which I still haven't used. I worked with so many photographers in Las Vegas and none of them were so unprofessional and flaky. As part of the #twitternerds profiles for @SinnerMag we did a photoshoot at Shane O'Neal's…read more(@SONproductions) studio on Monday night. Shane is AWESOME! Funny and engaging and very professional, he seems to be able to adapt to the mood and energy around him and his subjects to create a good time while working hard. He can explain what he needs from you to make the best shot, and then, when you aren't doing it right, will help you to learn, stand, and jut out your chin just so.... without making you feel like an ass. Photography is way more detailed than the average person understands, and Shane has a great way of including you and making you feel a part of it, not just a subject on the other side of his lense. It's as much your work as his, or so it felt to me, and whether in the midst of the single-person shoots or the group shots, he is interactive and moving around and looking for new ways to present something to make you both happy. Fun, serious, theme work; he does it all to make sure there is a wide range of options to choose from to cover all your needs. I am looking forward to seeing what came from that fun shoot on Monday, and I hope to be talking to Shane soon about more work!

First, I want to stress that my experiences are unique to me and I'm not trying to generalize…read more Over the past 20+ years, I've had the opportunity to work with some great and not so great photographers. As a promotional model in the past, working trade shows, you need to keep an updated portfolio to book gigs. I would shoot with photographers, get a CD lol with 100+ images and hope that 2 or more would work for my portfolio. Most of the time, I could find a few that I really liked and I can still appreciate them today. Then there are those that never did a thing for me, and I discarded. Fast forward about 20 years later.... Now in my professional career, I've needed to get updated corporate photos for quite some time but was ok with silly selfies like the one on my google profile lol. Ok, so it was time to get serious... I then asked my broker for a referral and was given a name and number. Instead of me calling this guy, I googled the agent who he had photographed to see her image on her website, and I have to say that I wasn't impressed. She was very washed out and cloudy almost like a ghost. I then scrolled through all her staff photos assuming it was the same photographer and started to get that Kmarty vibe. Well, that wasn't going to work for me, so I started to search out photographers on google and came across tons of Kmarty JcPennyish photography studio vibes out there. Lots of bad lighting and cheesy poses. OMG! Maybe, I'm just used to better quality than what I was finding in today's market. Then, I came across Light Images. Scrolled through her corporate images and I was sold! I was also praying that I could afford to work with her because her photography was incredible. Perfect lighting, no cheesy poses. Sign me up! lol I immediately called her, and she was pleasant on the phone, completely professional and I was able to coordinate a shoot that was convenient for me. Everything was as she had said on the phone from my arrival to setup in her studio. She had everything ready to go and the whole process was quick. She had such great energy and I really enjoyed working with her. Then, the moment of truth... After the shoot, sitting with Susan as she pulled up the photos. I was over the moon! Wow! What a relief to see my images in perfect lighting, perfect everything. It was so difficult for me to weed out anything. lol She is AMAZING!!!! In the end, I ended up buying more than I had planned but it was so worth it... Today is Sunday and I didn't expect to hear from Susan, but she texted me to say my images were ready and she needed my email. Shortly after, I checked my email and I have to say that I was moved to tears... I had a good cry but they were tears of joy, gratitude, and appreciation... I was overwhelmed by the quality of her work. To see myself so beautifully in a way I haven't been able to really see in the mirror, but Susan was able to capture the essence of my beauty through her camera lens. Susan is a gifted artisan and if I didn't share all my thoughts and experience, I would feel greedy! I honestly believe that if you don't trust Susan to take your photos, you're only cheating yourself. Seriously! She is the best and I can't stop raving about her and my experience. I plan to do more shoots with Susan with my family and boyfriend. My only regret is that I didn't find her in my earlier years. Thank you, Susan! The DJ (Ronnie) nearly ruined the wedding... He was rude to most everyone he spoke to, was…read moreapparently a last second backup, and was especially rude to the Bride. Icing on the cake was when he told her, " You have to keep everything together because people are looking at you all night and if you get upset about anything you will ruin the mood". He refused to let anyone request songs, stating we made a playset he had to follow, which was a lie. He was given a song list for key songs during the ceremony and our grand entrance though, but decided to deviate from that list for the song the Bride walked down the isle to. He didn't fade or blend the songs during the ceremony and chose to stop mid song and cut directly into the next one. The songs he did play made everyone walk away from the dance floor. We did we request country music during cocktail hour and during dinner, which he didn't play much of. He argued with the Made of Honor and other bridal party members and made me, the groom fill like we had to rush everything during the reception. So THANKS again RONNIE. I hope I never see you behind a DJ booth again!
