Where to start with this review... Sit Means Sit has been a much-needed improvement in my…read morehousehold. THANK YOU!!!! The trainer, Jenna, has been amazing; knowledgeable, interpersonal, and amazing with our pup. Jenna really goes out of her way to learn about the pet owners and the struggles they may be facing and gives them tips and tricks to help overcome. My husband and I adopted Layla, a 1 yr old Pomeranian and Blue Lacy mix. After a month of trying to train her on our own, realized we needed perfessional help. It paid out in a big way! We did the 10 day board and train. Our pup needed guidance, boundaries, and leadership, with Sit Means Sit we have been able to give that to her. Added background: We brought Layla to a consultation at Sit Means Sit, she saw a trainer's dog showcase her leashless awesomeness and Layla FULLY LOST IT; Barking, pacing, acting in an aggressive way. We've never seen that with Layla... after 10 days of board and train, that same dog crossed our paths and Layla was cool as a cucumber!!! Talk about growth and confidence!!! Even more so in a room full of med- large dogs (which Layla use to bark at) she was super calm and keeps her focus on us, her owners! Thank you Sit Means Sit! SMS leaders: Thank you So MUCH for the kind words on Layla, it was so nice to see she touched y'alls' hearts as she does ours! Thanks for taking care of her!

She worked magic with my Goldens, Ekko and Mille, and her knowledge, support, and finesse made all the difference. If you're looking for a trainer, Deanna and Sit Means Sit have my highest recommendation!

Therese has taught me how to take control of him using positive methods. We now walk weekly through busy parks and farmers markets with many other dogs and he is a perfect gentleman. I did try to work with another popular training group in the area but I didn't feel that I was getting much individual attention. At dogs unlimited, the classes are small and the trainers work with you and your dog to fix you and your dogs individual quirks. The shop is very clean and a perfect size. It offers air conditioning for those hot days. Both trainers are extremely knowledgable and offer plenty of individual attention to myself and my dog. I have purchased their private lessons for my dog, beginner class, and intermediate class. I am shocked at how well my giant doberman has responded to their methods. I , too have learned so much from Dogs Unlimited. I am grateful to them for everything.

I've been hesitant to write this review due to the fact that I know exactly how the owners will…read morerespond. But I decided that others should be made aware. If you have a fearful and anxious, three month old puppy, which was stated in all of the paperwork, then DO NOT hire Pawfection. If you want your three month old, fearful and an anxious puppy to be labeled as "aggressive "after being blown in the face twice by a canister of CO2 then do not hire Pawfection. If you want your three month old puppy to get the piss, literally, scared out of him by getting blasted in the face with CO2, then hire Pawfection. If you want your puppy to cower against a window or in their crate, their safe place, but then get approached by the person that scared the living piss out of him with the canister of CO2 and try to put a leash on him, where he gives a warning growl, which then labels your three month old fearful and anxious puppy, who was just scared to death and approached in his safe zone by some stranger, reaching over his head to put a leash on him then hire Pawfection. If you want to sit through an almost 2 hour PowerPoint presentation of almost 90 slides of outdated information that you can find in the Internet, then higher Pawfection. If you want to be told what to purchase off of Amazon, after learning that she invested in Amazon years ago, then hire Pawfection. If you want to listen to them talk poorly about their competitors (by name), speak poorly of food companies while promoting a specific brand, or listen to anything negative that isn't related to them, then hire Pawfection. If you want to learn more about perfection and how involved they are with the industry and you want to learn how they can benefit if you purchase things off Amazon, then hire Pawfection. If you want your trainer to come 30 minutes late while your puppy is in the crate because you're told that the puppy needs to be in the crate during the first part of the training (keep in mind he's 3 months so his bladder isn't fully formed), then higher Pawfection. If you want a total of 20 minutes of actual interaction with your puppy for training, keep in mind a three month old fearful and anxious puppy, then hire Pawfection. If you want a "one size fits all, special sauce training", then higher, Pawfection. If a toddler were afraid to enter their classroom at the start of the school year, would you use a scare tactic to get them to do what you want them to and not address the fear and anxiety? I cannot speak for other methods of training or other dogs who need training aside from a fearful and anxious puppy, but if you have a three month old fearful and anxious puppy, then my recommendation is DO NOT hire Pawfection. If my dog was labeled "aggressive " (keep in mind what caused the cowering and growl) due to being scared in his safe place that was intruded, then why would they book us for a puppy play date at their facility with other puppies for the following week? I'm ready for the response as I know that it will be defensive, blaming, rude, aggressive, and no accountability is taken. I can predict this due to other negative reviews that were left behind and how the owners respond. But I feel that dog owners who have a puppy very similar to mine should see this review. We used zero of their tactics and zero of their recommendations. We found better products and better food than recommended. We found a different trainer and now our puppy is doing amazing and it's thriving. Perfection was a waste of money, but a lesson learned. Probably less than one star of that was an option.

That's when I found Natural Instincts on a Google search and decided to give it a shot. I signed up for the agility classes. For 99$ you can attend agility class either Saturday or Sunday morning for 6 sessions. The sessions expire within 12 weeks so when Pepper had to take a break because she got spayed, it was absolutely no issue. The majority of the class is focused on doing the agility course, but they also practice other things such as proper leash walking. The owner runs the class but there are always atleast 2-3 other trainers around to help. Pepper loves agility! She is a couch potato at heart but when she's at agility class she is always having a blast running and just being around dogs. A lot of obedience classes and dog day cares unfortunately discriminate against pitbulls but at Natural Instincts they are extremely bully friendly. Oh and they always have someone with a professional camera taking amazing pics of you & your dog. It's definitely nice having all these wonderful pictures of my dog (it's not like my camera isn't already full of pics of her). I have one week left from this 6 week package but I'll definitely purchase a new 6 week pass next class.

Once she retired, I noticed that she still had show dog mentality and was very stubborn, especially if she wasn't being shown by her handler. I love my fur baby and I want to continue to enjoy her. I knew that this transition was new to her as well as to us, and I needed help. I didn't just want anyone to help us with this new transition from being a show dog to a loving, obedient, well-trained dog that we can enjoy inside our home and outside of our home. After doing thorough research, we located Elite Professional Dog Training LLC 5001 North Ronald Reagan Blvd Sanford , Florida 32773. We met with the trainer, Laurent Gabriel, and Josh. We watched the interactions with our fur baby, Ms. Hunnie, and they not only won her over but us as well. We decided on the Boot Camp 4-6 weeks, which meant she had to stay. But I will let you know that was very hard as well; however, the staff kept us updated with an update regularly. They even put up with me calling every single day until I became more comfortable. They also sent videos and pictures of her progress regularly. I know this was a long review, but if you love your fur baby as I do, give them the extra love they need to be happy. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.
