We have only used one other mobile groomer that recently closed so we took our girls to a groomer and dropped them off. While the groomer did fine, our girls have never been left anywhere where there are other dogs--even though the dogs did nothing to our girls, just the barking (which all dogs do) stressed them. I work from home and have for years, so they have not been to an outside groomer very much. Our girls are older--one will soon be 13, so they don't adjust to strange places. The other is a 6 yr old chihuahua--they don't trust anyone. I was SO happy to find Royal Paws. They were on time, friendly and introduced themselves to my fur girls. Cost is comparable to a drop off groomer. I could see these groomers actually loved dogs and the job they do. Anyone with Senior dogs knows what I mean. I was so glad when the groomers brought them back to our door and they both had wagging tails and were not fearful of the ladies at all as they were walked inside our home. Thank you ladies!! We will see you again soon. I urge anyone with picky pups to check out Royal Paws. You won't regret it.

They did a fantastic job with my Golden Retriever and my anxious English Bulldog -- even managed to bathe, clip, and trim nails for both (a huge win for my Bulldog!). Prices are very reasonable, and I loved the convenience of being able to cook dinner and get things done at home while the dogs were groomed. Highly recommend!

They couldnt find the problem so I called Middle Valley (her vet) today and they told me we could bring her right in and drop her off to see Dr. Killian-perfect-that is who she always sees. Dr. Killian called me after he was able to see her and determined it was a back issue. He told me she would have to stay in a small Kennel for two weeks and it was imperative that she should stay in the kennel and only get out for a few steps to pee and poop. He suggested that I pick up a small kennel and have it ready when we picked her up. All good so far-I love Dr. Killian! When we picked her up we brought in two kennels to vet office to make sure we had the right size and was going to ask which size to use. We paid the vet bill-$800 and waited to be called to a room to further discuss and ask a few questions. Then a "vet tech" brought her to the WAITING AREA on a leash with her jumping up and down as she was excited to see us! I was shocked and so worried that she was going to damage herself further-that I really didn't even have words. He handed me two medications and told me once a day and twice a day-pain meds and then said Bye. Once my husband got the dog in the kennel and car I went back in to ask if any medication had already been given and any other information when should I give it-still shocked at how the dog had been brought out and very disappointed on how it all transpired. Very disappointed also, that we had not even been given a chance to ask any questions (just needed 5 minutes) to go over everything. Hubby was livid. We have been clients for a long time and have never experienced anything like this before and feel it should be addressed as I wish no one else to experience this, it was very disturbing and stressful.

Lora Jernigan cannot set a standard on services and pricing. Emily and Kathleen want to argue with me every single time I go in, even after it's all been agreed upon with the owner. They want to heavily up charge every time. I highly recommend going elsewhere. What an absolute nightmare this place has been.

It was that the parameters kept changing from visit to visit, even though I was bringing my dog in on the same schedule and trying to maintain the same service. At today's visit, I explicitly said to just do what was in the notes from last time. Instead, I was again told it would be treated differently and priced differently. That repeated inconsistency is the issue. Yes, I cursed to myself while walking out. That frustration came after multiple visits where the same service discussion seemed to get reinterpreted all over again. Their reply only reinforces my original point that this place is inconsistent and exhausting to deal with. When I came back in to discuss it with Lora, SHE yelled AT ME, with no discussion on the issue, not the other way around. Original review: BEWARE!! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO ELSEWHERE! I should have listened to the bad reviews. Chattagroomer has been, by far, the worst grooming experience I have ever had, and I have used groomers in five different states. To be fair, Kathleen does a good job grooming my dog, but unfortunately, that's the only positive. The recurring problem was pricing and service inconsistency. At my first appointment, I specifically asked whether bringing my dog in every 4 to 6 weeks would qualify him for a tidy, and I was told yes, at about $104 with only minor fluctuation. Then at later visits, including just 4 weeks later, I was told it would suddenly be a full groom at around $144 instead. Lora later called me and we agreed, again, that the service I'm getting was a 'Tidy' at ~$104. I also called at one point to ask about only a bath and brush with medicated shampoo because my dog was dealing with seasonal skin allergies. I was told that would still be the tidy price, and that they would not "give a discount for services," even though I was asking for less service. I told her that's fine, I'll get him bathed elsewhere. The final visit was the last straw. I came in again on the same schedule(4 weeks), again asking for the same tidy, and again was told it would be the full haircut price. I said this keeps happening, and to just do what was in the notes from last time and that I would pay what I needed to pay. Instead of resolving a recurring issue they had created multiple times, I was told that if it was that much of an issue they would rather I just leave. I walked out angry and did curse to myself. I should not have done that. But that frustration came after repeated pricing disputes and repeated inconsistency that this business never seemed able to fix. A business can misunderstandings. Chattagroomer turned it into a pattern. A good groom is not enough to make up for constant confusion, aggravation, and having to re argue the same price and service over and over. I gave this place more chances than I should have. Never again. I will be warning every dog owner I know. TLDR: OWNER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS, GO ELSWHERE

    Well I left my boxer over Christmas and picked this place because of a camera in the kennel. My…read moreboyfriend was watching Delilah on camera and said something is wrong with her backside. I only went to Savannah, GA and drove as fast as I could to the kennel. Sign said no pickup until after 3pm. I'm there - they wouldn't let me go back to see her when they brought her out I noticed something was not right with her backside. I asked what happened to her? The girl looks at me and says I have no idea she goes but you did sign off on liability. At this time, I just wanna get Delilah home, but I wanted to come across the counter and ring her neck I looked at her and I said I signed off on liability, not negligence. You have veterinarians right next-door. Something happened to her and she should've been seen. After going to an emergency veterinarian in downtown Chattanooga $8000 later, my dog who just turned four in 2025 is handicapped. She has damage to her back vertebrae's and her anal sphincter. So in other words when she has to go poop, her little nub will go straight up in the air, I have to run to get her outside. She has no control. She also can't wag her nub anymore either I would never recommend this place and I have medical records to back up improve what I'm saying is the truth. I now have a dog that if I need to board her and I have found a boarding facility that I do love she has to wear a diaper. Biggest mistake I have ever made, and I have to live with this for the rest of my life. And unfortunately, so does Delilah.
