Clean and not to dark in the gaming area. Customer clientele was pretty decent too. Had 5 machines with lots of variety on each machine. Played the Vegas Royale and hit it big. Couple 100 bucks in about an hour. Machines were clean too. Guy next to me got up and the lady working there came over quickly and wiped down the machine and seat. She asked me when I walked in if I wanted a complimentary soda or water. After my winnings I bought a hot dog and a cold beer. The beer was reasonable at 2 bucks. Hot dog was huge and a real bargain at 3 bucks. The had all the fixins and make it there fresh. Dog was awesome and when I say fresh it's not in some warmer or popped into the microwave, this dog came out of the fridge and onto the grill. Yum! Overall I had a great experience here and would highly recommend! The people working there were great. While I was eating my dog the gal working there has the Blackhawks game on the radio down low. Asked her if it was the Hawks game and she said yes and turned it up a bit so I could hear it (game wasn't televised) which I appreciated. Liked it here so much I came back the next night. This place is awesome!

My sister's and I happily attend this EVERY year and while it is waayy out in Belvidere...it is always worth the drive.. Its a festive way to introduce the upcoming holidays, yet another year... This event was held Oct 11th & 12th (held once every year in October).. We went opening day, Saturday and arrived around 2:00pm.... Hours held: 9-5 on Sat. & 9-4 Sun. YES, it was super crowded, but it was a gorgeous day to be outside...just perfect for walking around the outdoor tents where you will find OVER 300 VENDORS showcasing some of the most unique, hand crafted original designs....everything from pottery, jewelry, soaps, naturally scented lotions, quilts, Fall, Halloween & Christmas decorations not to mention your favorite sports team, children & baby items...to any and all things dog and cat related; treats, warmers...candles, essential oils and aromatherapy rocks..the list is endless...its a great way to pickup a "gift" or treat yourself....They can even personalize various arts.... There is an outstanding display of folk art, wood carving, dried florals, painted and appliqued clothing, fine art, small local artesian shops selling chocolates, infused vinegars, jams, sauces, etc...to local designers with hand made scarves, ponchos, sweaters....an array of beautiful wood work designs....Vendors come from all over Illinois including Chicago.... All the displays are nicely organized and "eye catchy"...there is PLENTY of room to walk in between vendors & ailes, so although it is a popular event - you will not be "mobbed" or trampled over...Everyone is so friendly here.... The Festival also has numerous outdoor stalls to grab a "bite" while you sit at the nearby picnic tables...They have Funnel Cake stands, Kettle Corn, Cream Puffs, Cheese Curds, Kebobs, Homemade pies and coffee cakes for sale..Burgers, Dogs...something for everyone's palette while satisfying hunger.....You will see SOME kids and strollers here too - fyi. After coming here for years, we have found you can pretty much check out NEARLY all vendors within 2 hrs (or less). I wish the guy much success and really admire his lack of greed and wanting fun to be affordable to all, but I still think he can increase the prices a bit and it still be affordable, and maybe the increase can help to invest towards the upkeep of the machines. Either way, cool place and cool guy!

A lot of them asked if I was on vacation, and when I told them I was there for the weekend with the women motorcycle riders to break the world record they were interested in the event. One nice lady (don't remember her name) was talking about how she had her dad out the day before and was seeing ladies riding motorcycles and how enjoyed seeing all the ladies. It is a great facility and fantastic people who play there.

Everyone I've met has been pleasant, and it's like being surrounded by family and friends. Usually, when we play for hours, we go up to the restaurant area and grab some wings and some brew. We've even jumped on the mic during Karaoke night, which happens on Fridays. The only thing I wish they could change is the time the restaurant closes - they typically have open plays at night that end at 10pm, which is the same time the restaurant closes and that's when a lot of us have been craving those wings! Regardless, this is definitely one of my favorite things to do in Rockford.

So, apparently, a good deal, 100 tokens for $20. So, we split the tokens 50/50. I was shocked when my child was frustrated because a ticket based arcade did not work, and we realized it required 4 tokens! The number of machines that required 4 tokens seemed to be in the majority. Most places we have been to, the higher token machines were typically the race car driving machines, where machines that give tickets typically range in the 1-2 token family group. Now, I saw that someone mentioned that the arcade accepted 1-4 tokens, I did not find (on 4/25/2025 any that accepted only 1 token. Not saying that they were not there... I just did not find them. I did find a few that accepted 2 tokens or 3 tokens though. They do have some sort of bowling game that required 8 tokens in the back corner. While we were there yesterday, on a Saturday afternoon, it was really quite empty, we did not see anyone working the concession area at all. Thankfully, we brought water bottles. While there I did see a frustrated parent who paid $14 (children 3 and under rate), because the bounce houses were geared toward that age group. Overall - over priced.
