I was stopping in the beauty supply store when I noticed this little gem. The cashier allowed us to try the bread pudding. Let me say that I'm not a lover of bread pudding, but this bread puddings to die for. It's so good. I bought a peanut butter cookie and a pineapple coconut cupcake. I just happened to be in the neighborhood and came across this jem of a bakery. The owners are really friendly and a joy to talk to. The cakes look good. I was temped to get the cake that had the syringe in it but ended up going for a three layer cake that was carrot cake with cheese cake in the middle. The carrot cake layer was really good and so was the cheese cake. The mix of the two was great. But the item that I didn't get to try was the cake shakes. They are what they are know for. I got a photo of the oreo deluxe cake shake and it looked amazing. I will have to go back to try one. Love the local dives. read more

This has to be one of if not the best dessert shop in northwest Indiana. The donuts are amazing they always melt in your mouth and have just the right amount of sugar. They sell large cakes and pies if you have a big event. Healthier parfaits and fruit if want to scale on the sweets. read more

Stopped in after getting our vaccines at the Gary FEMA site. Picked up a selection of cupcakes and a couple of shakes. Shakes were tasty but the cupcakes were amazing - moist and delicious. Especially loved the butter pecan and strawberry cupcakes. Will be stopping in again on our summer trips to the beach. read more

This is a lovely little place! It wasn't crowded when we went. We went for my husband's birthday! He got the Chocolate Hurricane. We also got a brownie, chocolate peanut butter, ice cream, and a donut. The woman at the counter was super nice! She even gave me a pecan bread pudding sample! If I didn't have my taste buds set for chocolate, I would have gotten that! It was so delicious! It was moist and flavorful! There was a delicious glazey yet strudely crunchy sort of topping on it that was so yum! The location was clean and uncluttered. The tall purple sparkle booths are perfect! Here's our food review: The chocolate hurricane was delicious. The shake part was decent, and the cupcake part was good. The stuff on the side of the glass was hard to eat, but it was tasty. It was so very filling-so if you get one to eat by yourself, bring your appetite! The chocolate peanut butter ice cream was decent. The brownie was pretty decent as well. It was fresh and chocolaty! The donut was decent. Though this place is slightly pricey, I would definitely recommend it and we will surely return! Oh, and one more thing: When they brought the order out to our purple sparkle booth, she had put a huge sparkler thingy in it for his birthday to make it special! It was so wonderful! read more
