The server was so helpful and accommodating. He really helped me order a no sugar fancy tea drink. There was a lot of options and I chose the coconut drink with coconut milk. I like that they steeped the tea in front of you and used timers. They didn't boil the hell out of the tea like some places do. I wish this was in San Antonio. I put a food order at a nearby grub spot and it was gonna be a few minutes, so I took the opp to come through here and get something refreshing. (Food spot only had soda and water and I wanted something better.) I screened through their menu and I immediately focused on an iced matcha latte. Put in the order and was told, "Sorry... we're out of matcha today..." I took a step back to take another look at a menu (and to give way to other customers.) It felt like I took one (maybe two?) long minute to decide and got to the point that there was nothing else that caught my attention. Staff noticed this and said if matcha is what I was in for, she suggested the oolong magnolia. "It may be the closest to taste we have to matcha." So, I went for it. VERDICT: It was nothing like matcha. It wasn't even close. BUT! It was pretty good and refreshing. It wasn't my first choice, but was decent second! The boba had a good chew. It certainly hit the spot, more especially during a hot and humid Central Texas day. DRINK: 3.5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 4. PARKING: Located in Union Hall. There is a small private lot. This was my first time here, and I ordered a iced chai tea with coconut milk (mid sweetness level). The drink was extremely watery and did not taste much of the chai nor coconut milk flavors in the drink. Was pretty disappointed but I may be comparing it too much to the Starbucks version. I love the idea of this place - I would probably bleed sweet tea, I love it so much. It was a pleasant addition to our visit to the food hall - both employees there were super friendly and willing to assist, my cashier made a suggestion on adding a flavored sugar to compliment the black hibiscus flavor that I chose, and it was really yummy even though I initially expected something similar to the Tazo tea that Starbucks sells. What a cute new place inside Union Hall! I love that each cup of tea is brewed fresh to order, so that you know you're getting a top quality drink! I tried the strawberry basil white tea with a sweetness of 2, and I loved it! It wasn't too sweet and there was a subtle hint of basil. It takes a few minutes for each cup to be served since they are brewing it right after you order and it takes some time to steep, but it was cool watching them use their little contraption that the tea is made in! My boyfriend's throat was hurting so we grabbed the Throat Therapy for him. I'm not much of a tea person so I just ordered a water. They're either too sweet or too bitter- tea doesn't do much for me. While waiting for the other tea to brew, I tried their latest sample of the Peach Black Tea, and holy moly, I became a tea person on the spot. The flavor was potent, the sweetness was just right, and I couldn't resist the urge to get one. I like that they ask you on a scale of 1-3 how sweet you'd like your drink, and they brew it fresh on the spot. 10/10 recommend this place. If you aren't a tea person, you'll become one. read more

If you're a fan of fruit tea, you'll love this place. I've tried the peach green tea (pictured here) and the blueberry white tea, both with level 1 sweetness (sweetness is selectable on a 1-3 scale). If you're familiar with peace green tea at boba places, level 1 is way less sweet and has less peach flavor. Still, I really enjoyed it as it had a strong tea taste and was refreshing paired with my food. With the blueberry white tea, I opted in for the blueberry sugar which enhanced the blueberry flavor. It tasted a little artificial to me and next time I'll try it without. I love the natural flavor of tea so I didn't feel like it was needed. If you prefer tasting more of the fruit over the tea, go for it! read more
