Natalie greeted me with a big smile and took the yoga class with us. This is definitely a place where they know their clients, not just the pleasant hello. For a newbie yoga person, this was the kind of comfort I was hoping for. We walked in to the beautifully sunlit yoga studio, and met Allison our instructor. I love how judge free every one was and how peaceful it was. This and Allison made me completely love yoga and Wholetrition Wellness. I have been lucky to take yoga classes with Allison and Judy. These ladies are amazing and help get you connected to your peace! I thought my friend was nuts when she used to talk about this yoga class she took and just HOW much she looked forward to it every week. Well now, I too, am hooked on yoga. It brings that bliss and these ladies are awesome guides in your journey on your path!! Wholetrition is the perfect No Judgement environment. (There are other services they offer too- nutrition, massage, reiki and more!!) They recently had an open house. There was a great turn out. These ladies and gentlemen know what they are doing. I clicked on the link and discovered it was a BEAUTIFUL space, close to my home, and they were having a grand opening. Checking it out was the one of the greatest things I've ever done in my life. Not only is the place STUNNING, but they have so many awesome things to do. They have wonderful yoga teachers, especially Liz. The classes are truely for all levels. Whether you are a pro or have never stepped in a yoga class before, you will have a wonderful experience. Having a terrible back, knee, and being overweight you must be able to sense my fear of trying new things... Especially anything physical! I have always felt comfortable and welcome in the classes and yoga has greatly helped my recovery process. And that's just the yoga! They also have crystal bowl meditations, and angel meditations. I have never tried those things before, and I have to say they were both incredible experiences! I would definitely try again. Whiletrition Wellness is definitely a place you should check out. Whether you are looking for strictly exercise or relaxation, or spiritual healing, they literally have it all! Dr. Choy's staff person, Erica, called me back and I told her what the situation was. Erica told me she would check with Dr. Choy and get right back to me within a few minutes. I told her that might be a challenge depending on the doctor's availability, but to please call me back at her earliest convenience with some answers. I never heard from her again. I called again and left a message reminding her that I was waiting to hear back from her. No call back. I called one last time telling her that the situation was very serious and I needed to know if Dr. Choy could possibly help my brother, otherwise we'd have to make other arrangements. I literally begged Erica to give me the courtesy of a return call. I never heard from them. You can reach your own conclusions as to whether you want to trust treatment to people capable of acting like this.

After she finished her testing, she was able to determine that my problem was neuropathy stemming from Lyme's Disease which I had over 25 years ago. After her treatment involving acupuncture and homeopathic medicines, my pain is almost gone and walking is much easier. Dr. Choy is kind and listens well. She makes me feel that I matter to her as a person as well as a patient. I wholeheartedly endorse her and recommend her to one and all. She really helps.

I had Frozen Shoulder of my right arm 8 years ago and it took at least 8 weeks of physical therapy and manipulation techniques to get better. Fearing I had Frozen Shoulder again I went to my Orthopedist who confirmed this and gave me 2 shots of cortisone which relieved some of my pain for about 6 hrs and said I had to start physical therapy for it etc. My boyfriend who has been going to Liping on and off for over a decade (gets injuries from his line of work) went on and on how I should see her and try acupuncture because she has done amazing things for him and others and told me all kinds of stories. (He had been to other acupuncturists through the years but said Liping by far was the best. I figured I had nothing to lose and due to a cancellation was seen the next day. Liping said I didn't need cortisone shots and physical therapy. She herself had frozen shoulder she said before and could easily fix my shoulder. As a sceptic I had a we will see attitude but had my session with electro acupuncture and regular acupuncture. I did feel better when I left and kept feeling better throughout the day. The very next day I woke up with no pain and could actually move my arm like almost nothing ever happened! This was truly a miracle to me! I actually decided to go to my gym that morning and take my classes which include weight training, yoga etc! Although I did take it easy that first day I didn't want to jinx or hurt anything. But literally I was good as new...pain free and continuing taking my classes and working out by the second day as normal! Never went back to the orthopedist or physical therapy but did continue with Liping and have never been happier.

Although I often frequent the shopping plaza Yoga + Herbs is in, I hadn't realized this yoga studio…read moreexisted until I saw a deal offered for it's classes on Groupon. I originally purchased the 5 classes. I really liked the first class and asked if I could upgrade to the 10 classes. I was able to do this with no problem, which was quite refreshing. The studio is small, but has everything you need including the hot yoga option, lockers, mats, bathrooms, a shower, steam area, private massage room, and reception area with seating. There is also a refrigerator with water bottles I suppose are for purchase, which is good to know if you forget your water. The studio room is rather small. I've never seen the accordion doors shut, which is a good thing, because the room is small as it is...but there is the option for 2 events to go on at once. There is a pleasant smell throughout the studio, to my relief. It is a well taken care of studio aside for the bathrooms which could use some improvements. Overall though, I really like the vibe of the studio...smells nice...dimly lit...nice hardwood floor...mirrors. There are several classes offered 7 days a week, although a few more added to each day's offerings would be nice. I also like that there are some free seminars offered, as well as some special holiday events (additional fee, but nice to have that option). Teachers are great! I especially like the hot yoga class-an added luxury was at the end when the instructor sprayed a calming spray near us if we so chose...helped calm the mind. Receptionists are helpful and responsive, even to emails. I was impressed and will continue to practice here.

However, tan instructor Doree whose class I took was more than inappropriate and out of line more times than not. Her workouts were very good however, instructors should use pearls of wisdom and relaxation stories and techniques, not revenge stories and cursing as Doree did. I wonder if the owners are aware of her behavior.....
