There was a wedding party in the adjacent barn like building and it was very festive and fun. The restaurant itself is beautiful, wood detailing and perfect traditonal decor. It's cozy, comfortable, and inviting. The service and kitchen are very efficient and our meals arrived in good time. I had the schweinhaxen and it was excellent, along with a plump well prepared dumpling.The cabbage I had to accompany it was delicious. I would come back here again and again if it wasn't so far from home. This is a must do if in the area, or even worth a trip to it as a destination.

As this neighborhood is known for mosquitoes, it might be good to bring some mosquito spray with you, especially if you want to sit outside. There are several rooms inside, so they have capacity to host a lot of people. The server was friendly. It was patient with our family since not everyone spoke German in our group.
