As regular readers of my reviews will know, I'm not a regular visitor to Primark and I actually think I have only visited the chain about 3-4 times in my life and that was only across this branch and the one in Manchester. This store is quite a big one (although not as big as Manchester) and is located over 2 floors, they is a lift connecting them as well as escalators. Most of the things here seem to be on the cheaper side, but it does seem in a way they have piled clothes into a smaller area, hence making it seem a little like a jumble sale, especially to go alongside the low pricing - but still it isn't as bad as Sports Direct! I didn't notice many staff around the store. Most of the clothes here, I didn't find to be "Amazing Fashion" at all - which the company labels it as. Some of the clothes here I didn't even find to be fashion at all - but take my comments as a piece of salt if you are a fashion geek, as in all honesty, I know people who question my ability in style all the time, as I do honestly feel "ripped jeans" (is that what they call them?) just looks tatty and something that needs replacing, and it makes me wonder if they can not afford to buy a full pair of jeans or pants. 2 stars - I will probably visit in the future and do a more detailed review but for now the fashion here, in my eyes seems unfashionable and it isn't the nicest of stores, and the layout of it isn't too good either and it can be hard to find a staff member.

This branch of TK Maxx is located in Oldham, it is on Union Street next to Sainsbury's…read more Starting with the location, the location of the store isn't great, it's a little hidden and a little isolated when compared to rival stores and clothing stores being located inside Spindells Shopping Centre, for me they're missing a big market through not being located there, although with this location it has the benefit of being able to park nearer in the large Sainsbury's car park, and it is also not far from Oldham Central Metrolink Stop. The store its-self is a little basic and even ugly, the store seems more like a warehouse than other branches I've been too in terms of decor, the store isn't that large, it is merely average but the warehouse store still applies. The product range seems a little lacking compared to other branches such as Manchester Arndale, and the overall store isn't modern, it's more of a dissapointing medicore place to shop, hence warranting a one-star rating.

If it looks good, it looks good, end of story. The are some good quality clothes and a wide variety of shoes, at a good price. Due to being end of line items there's isn't usually more than one of many things, which makes the stocking look somewhat haphazard, but it just means you have to go back more often to catch the bargains as it's hard to predict what could be available next. This shares a shopping park with a large Sainsbury's store, and although there is plenty of dedicated parking available, it's a very busy car park and often full.

Next in Oldham's Spindells Town Square Shopping centre, is a fairly small branch of the clothing…read morestore chain, and mainly stocks essentials one would associate with the brand in a mediocre store (far from as luxury and modern feeling as larger locations in the Next brand such as the newly refurbished Manchester Arndale store). The staff again didn't stand out, they were okay at best. I also found the women's section to be slightly better than the men's. Considering Next is known for catering to all markets, this is a shame. With the high street in local towns especially dying, this is a nice brand to have in a small town like Oldham with a population of just over 230,000 and is pretty useful for online orders if you live within the area, due to Next's free click and collect service is ordering online. 2*
