I have been going to her since 2010 and since then she has also expanded her specialty to include acupuncture (including cupping, guasha, tuina, and moxibustion). I was weary at first, I have to admit, but boy am I ever glad that I tried it! She uses variety of techniques in a session if you are open to it, and is committed to finding a way that you are comfortable with to make you feel better. Also, she has a calming, beautiful temperament that makes you feel at ease the moment you see her. She has fit me in several times when I had neck episodes and was in excruciating pain. I've had over 500 massages done in my life, so I know what a good massage is, and what a bad massage is. A good massage: - Starts on time - You get the amount of time you paid for (lots of RMTs start late and/or finish early) - Targets the areas you requested (I've had massage therapists ask me what areas I'd like to focus on. I usually say the "mid-back." They ignore that, and give me something I didn't ask for). - Adjusts the pressure based on my preference. Tanya delivered on all that and more. Starting with the heat on you back to the deep tissue massage to the final scalp massage, it was amazing. She identified the problem as being rooted in my hips and after just one session I was already feeling better. I went back to see her one or two more times but then I was *~*healed*~* so didn't need to return. Christa recommended me to their acupuncturist, Nada, as well to help with some issues with my jaw and neck. I went to see her twice and had a lovely experience. She did ask a lot of questions on the first visit but you can tell she's not just there to collect a cheque ... she really cares about your needs, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Prices are competitive, they do direct billing, and the space is really friendly and inviting. The receptionist even let me charge my phone behind her desk once while I was in my appointment! I haven't been back in awhile since their techniques have helped me (yay!), but will be back as needed, maybe for a massage next time.

I was worried about seeing a new RMT, as Jennifer was phenomenal and I didn't think anyone would be able to compare to her, but I took a chance on one of the other RMT's the office recommended - Kenneth Peddle, and I am a believer! Kenneth fixed my back and shoulders, and could read my sore muscles like an open book. I am feeling super great after my appointment and will be returning. He even gave me some stretches to do in the meantime. I would highly recommend this place - the office space is gorgeous, everyone is extremely friendly, and most importantly, the staff are all excellent medical professionals who really know their stuff.
