When walking up Broadway from Madison Square Park, came across this Upside location. Had recently tried a slice at their NoLIta pizzeria and wanted to see if there was any difference. My Upside $4 plain cheese slice here was a positively better experience: 1) Ordering was easy and my slice came up quickly. (A definite difference!) 2) Crust was perfectly tender and crispy! The cheese was much better and didn't have an off taste and produce the drippy grease like my NoLIta Upside slice did. (After this, wondering what the earlier issue was.) 3) Was able to sit down inside and enjoy my slice without the music not too loud compared to before. (This spot had available outdoor seating too, but it had been rained on.) Wish this tasty slice could have been slightly larger for 4 bucks, but otherwise definitely this Upside Pizza is a place you might consider stopping by if you have a hankering and are passing by! read more
