I love that they try sort through everything to determine the environmentally safe way to dispose of things. Jimendo (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and Blake arrived early, were extremely friendly and polite, and were very quick and efficient. The price was fair for the headache they saved me from driving around trying to dispose of things properly. I felt horrible that I didn't have cash to tip them, especially since they mentioned their truck didn't have AC and it's summer! Shannon and Kyle came toward the end of my scheduled time, which worked out perfectly for me, and they were great about communicating their ETA the entire time. When they arrived, they told me how much it would be and got right to work. They were fast, friendly, and did an amazing job. I was shocked how quickly it all disappeared! They took so much that I ran out of stuff to tell them to take. The price came out to less than what they quoted me in the beginning because all my junk didn't fill the space they thought it would, which was awesome. Everything was contactless, too, and they were equipped with masks, gloves, and everything else they may have needed to keep me (and themselves) safe. I had a lot of really heavy stuff that I needed to get rid off. I finally got to the point of it having to be removed no matter what. I was a little worried to find out that I wouldn't find out the price until they arrived. But the guys who came worked really hard to give me the best price possible. It ended up being way less expensive than I thought. And now I actually have room in my garage! Great service, I definitely recommend them. We were looking to get rid of some old furniture in our office, including a tall book shelf and a large metal filing cabinet. Two gentlemen from GOT JUNK came out to give us a quote. They saw each of the items in person and led us to believe that it was something they can do, and included the items in their quote. We scheduled a pick up for a few days later. On pick up day, two different gentlemen showed up, which is fine. They assesed the items and said that the tall book shelf would have to be hauled away outside of business hours because it's so big, and that's it's cheaper to take it all at one time. Also fine. So we scheduled a pick up the next day after hours. The two guys that showed up, yet again two different guys than the four that had been here before, said that the items are too big and they can't take them. So four different guys said they could do it, the 5th and 6th decide not to, and they took the other stuff and charged us anyways. They didn't call me like I had asked them to if there were any problems. I wish they had becasue now we have to start over and it's going to cost that much more. They said themselves that it is cheaper to do all at once, and they were very misleading in saying multiple times that they can take it all, just to leave some behind. Then I call to see if there is a way to fix this, and they basically said nope, there is nothing they can do about it, it is what it is. Very dissapointing. Now we're back to square one! read more

Made reservations on 8/30/19 for removal on 10/11/19 between 8:30 am - 10:30 am According to my email appointment confirmation I will receive a call 15-30 minutes before my promise time to let me know the trucks expected time of arrival. The first call from the truck team (Michael) (714) 462-6244 at 8:13 am. Second call with the truck team at 8:22 am to notify me that the current job their on has caused a delay therefore my ETA will now be 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm. Im not understanding with a big company to have only one truck for Orange County, CA?!?! Now its 1:50 pm, After several calls made to the company 1-800-468-5865, no resolution just numerous apologizes. Tried calling the truck team cell, No response straight to voicemail. Its now 2:30 pm! After cancelling my appointment the truck pulls up. Your company is horrible! I took a day off work for my appointment (lost a day wages). Its already stressful when moving with a family and senior parents, your company added more stress. Your company's time management and services is unacceptable. The pick up time was scheduled on 6/9/20 at 10-30to 12:30pm. it was no detailed info reg pricing on the website. I made phone call which was able to obtain general info reg pricing. The day of service,I received 6 update call started from 9am till 5:10 pm . After many updates and back and forth talking , the small truck was in front of other home and then they found the write address. At the time the entered at the place to give estimate was 5:30 pm which was too late and they came up with high charges for each piece which ended up asking them to leave. We had to hire the truck and worker the next day and still was less costly just I had to pay late fee to leasing office for the day we waited long for got- junk people to do the work .:( read more

I thought this would be an easy way to remove my fridge when I moved out my apartment, I made an appointment for 9:30-11am and drove from out of town the night before so I could be there when they came only wait until 3:30pm. This was really frustrating given that it was the last thing I needed to move and my landlord was counting on me being out of the apartment on time. The movers were very kind and comminuted well with me, but I don't know why they had 2 appointment scheduled before mine at 9:30am. I had to miss work and deal with an annoyed landlord. Nice workers but terrible terrible scheduling system. read more

Mark & Dijon showed up right when they said they would, quickly assessed what I had, and estimated how much it would be. The price was what the person on the phone had said it might be and I was happy with it. I was moving and downsizing and needed to get rid of furniture - some fairly old, big stuff. In an hour and a half they had cleared out a baby grand piano, refrigerator, roll-top desk, coffee table, dining table w/4 chairs, microwave, a whole bunch of patio furniture, and boxes of assorted junk. Most of it was heavy but they were STRONG and never slowed down. I called the night before and got an appointment for the next morning! Inquired about service online and received a call shortly after sending the request. They called before arriving and even made the appointment earlier for me which was great. The workers were very police and attentive. The estimate was based on the amount loaded into their truck. The workers loaded everything that I asked. They were efficient and did not waste anytime. They cleaned up the walkways with a broom and left everything looking better then before they arrived. Their credit card service was easy and the full truck load was loaded in under 2 hours. Had an entire patio FULL of rubbish and construction debris I needed removed. The guys showed up with smiles and immediately got to work. I was surprised at how fast they were able to clear the patio which included a dresser and mattress and various large and small pieces of construction remnants. I made an appointment for 10:30-12:30 to get rid of a few pieces of furniture and was left waiting until 6PM before eventually giving up after they constantly blew through updated ETAs. They then promised to give me a discounted price and that I would have a team out to my house first thing in the morning. And the next day, THEY STILL DID NOT SHOW UP. Seriously, find a local Junk hauler or something because this company clearly does not care about their customers. read more

I heard about 1-800 junk on the radio. I liked the commercial. It was really cute and got my attention. I had some things that I wanted to get out of my house and I called as soon as I got home and made my appointment. As the commercial said I just pointed and my two strong got junk gentlemen Kyle and Mike were putting everything on the truck ! They moved quickly and carefully they were clean, polite, and may I say nice looking. I would highly recommend this company! They did everything that they said that they would do in their commercial! I appreciated that Kyle was in constant touch with me during the process! If you need to clear out your junk then call them and you will be one hundred percent Satisfied. I had a really mixed bag of stuff to clear from an Estate and the guys (Trey and Tim) were absolutely WONDERFUL getting everything into the truck and off the property. In September 2014 I was faced with a large townhouse to empty on my own, quickly, and it was overwhelming. Things were chaotic and spread everywhere. My husband remembered seeing 1-800-GOT-JUNK trucks and suggested I call this company for help. The scheduling was easy and quick - very bright and helpful customer service agents - and then Ryan and Nick arrived to give an estimate and do the job. The estimating procedure was straightforward and fair-priced, and I gave the go-ahead. Ryan and Nick worked super quickly, efficiently, calmly, politely, and thoroughly. It really was amazing, and worth every penny. It is great to know that some of the items or materials will be recycled. At that time Ryan and Nick weren't able to take the gas stove as it hadn't been shut off from the gas line (a long story - discovered there was no shut-off valve). Later that day I was able to have the gas company shut off the gas and detached the stove from the gas line, and the 1-800-GOT-JUNK customer service agents (several, working together!) were able to locate Ryan and Nick so that they could bring the truck back to the townhouse and remove the stove. Watching the effort they made to successfully remove a very tightly wedged-in stove, very heavy, in a confined space, and out doorways with little space tolerance was incredibly impressive.
