Ultimately they wanted to install a new $25,000 AC unit and would clean the ducts for "free". The second company that came out, name starts with "F", and that's what they wanted to do. We didn't even let the guy finish the inspection to get a quote because he too wanted to upsell us. We then called Gesundheit. Mr. Barker gave a quote over the phone based on the number of vents in the house. Added cleaning the dryer vent for an additional $129. The two guys that came out did a great job cleaning the vents and cleaning up after the job was done. They took care to treat our home with respect as they performed their job. He told me that they would be under warranty so when I spoke with their office, I was told no one could get out here until next Thursday, 7 days from now. I have NO water and that was their response. We have horses and animal to care for. Then I was informed that even if the tanks are under warranty, they still charge for trip and installation. Horrible customer service. The well company that was on site said "if I had installed these, and they failed, I would never charge to do it again". Needless to say, this is another reason we choose to not ever use these guys again.

After we had already agreed on the inspection fee, he requested additional payment, claiming that inspecting the crawlspace took longer than expected. 3. He then wanted to charge extra to inspect the hot tub, even though he had previously agreed to include it in the inspection price. As a result, we ended up paying more than $1,000 for the inspection. 4. The inspection report reflected a lack of expertise, with many items simply recommending "further investigation" rather than providing meaningful findings. 5. The fireplace produced very little flame during the inspection; however, he concluded that there was no issue based solely on the seller's agent's statement that it was functioning properly. When I questioned why the fireplace produced so little flame if there was nothing wrong with it, he stated that he did not have expertise in evaluating that issue. 6. He also had a very unprofessional attitude throughout the process. 7. Later, we hired another inspector for a different house and were provided with an inspection report that had been prepared by him for the seller. Our inspector identified two code violations that were not documented in his report. Lesson learned: Don't automatically use the inspector recommended by your real estate agent. Consider researching and selecting an independent inspector so you can make your own decision.

Absolute worst. Although I found his pricing to be…read morequestionable, we decided to move forward with a bathroom remodel. Alejandro requested I gut the previous bathroom which I thought might save some money. I did not. His price continued to go up. We scheduled the remodel to occur while I took my wife on vacation. The home is a one bath. He insisted on removing the floor early and that included the toilet so no toilet for 24 hours. But it gets worse. Upon returning from vacation, I find that the toilet has not been seated properly and has leaked onto the floor, requiring a plumber to fix. The thermostat has been rewired incorrectly, requiring an electrician to repair. And the literal exterior wall to the home has been screwed through with 20-30 screws. The list goes on but since a complaint has been dismissed because I needed to repair and use the bathroom before an inspector could arrive, I wanted the next person to be aware. When given the opportunity to correct a soffit vent that he abandoned, he cut and mangled the vent cover, damaged more siding, and scrapped and marked the ceiling. I emailed the inspector shortly after and the next day Alejandro sent someone else to repair his terrible workmanship.
