James took time to review my Home Inspection Report prior to arrival and did a complete assessment at the property identifying imperfections and potential areas of plumbing issues. James' assessment determined concise plumbing needs; corrections for a complicated old water heater system, installation of a pressure reducing valve, and hose bib repair. He confirmed the exterior faucet fixture pipes were inside the home walls not in the ground...not so simple fix, but he magically fixed it temporarily with future full repair plans. Order out of chaos and bringing all up-to-code! In fact he recommended the antiquated water softener be replaced, which I didn't realize was on its last leg. Sure enough a week later after inspection the old water softener malfunctioned and started leaking. James successfully helped me disconnect it via text instructions within minutes, at no cost. James was available and was able to diagnose our issue. Our 1970's pipes from well and gas meter had had enough and needed to be replaced. James gave us a quote and got started as soon as he could fit us in. James worked many hours including weekends and had new water and gas lines installed by Sunday. I understand that you may "feel" that some things I said we're untrue but if you can identify that which I said was untrue, I will be happy to retract if I can't support the claim. When we noticed the leak, I asked you if that vacuum breaker needed to be on the hydrant because I didn't see that it served any other purpose than to leak and asked if it had to be there. You told me multiple times that it is code (can you cite the code?) and I just couldn't use a water timer on it. When I told you that it leaked out of the valve as well as the vacuum breaker whether or not it was connected to the timer, you again came out and replaced the vacuum breaker, and again to tighten something on the brand new hydrant. You had three months and multiple returns to offer a better solution. When I was still not satisfied your response was, "Codes have changed over the years and yard irrigation systems are supposed to be tied on to the main line with a Backflow preventer. Before the irrigation valve box.". This was unacceptable customer service so I moved on and replaced it with an anti frost hydrant from True Value for $50 and 15 minutes of my time; it does not leak at all. You have my number and you could have reached out to me before responding to my review. Our business is concluded and the money paid was well worth the lesson. I hope you have opportunity to better address your customers' concerns in the future.

No work has been started and the company is unresponsive. Two employees have called us saying that he has taken all the customers money and ran. He is also withholding wages from his employees. Thompson is amazing, extraordinarily…read moreknowledgeable where a previous plumber failed, with great prices, and identified and fixed additional issues such as my low water pressure "no charge". First, neither I nor the first plumber could locate where the main access line was. Thompson used his knowledge of where it exits from the crawlspace and the angle it has to make to the city line to know exactly where to dig, then dug, and found it. He cleaned it out, and observed that the pipes under the house were sagging (he showed me and they clearly were), resulting in sewage needing to go uphill, which it why the whole house backed up in the first place (and would happen again with time). He spent hours under the crawlspace fixing the slope and installing stronger metal straps to keep it in place (it had been supported by cheap plastic), with a 10-year warranty on his work! Then, he checked the house, and observed that the water pressure was low, and fixed that "no charge" as a bonus, identified that my sink faucet had calcification resulting in low pressure on that in particular ("no charge"), increased my water temperature "no charge", and sawed and put pipes on the formerly-buried sewage access lines so they could be found again once I put the dirt back "no charge". Suffice to say Thompson is amazing, probably the best plumber in Prescott, in terms of all four of knowledge, prices, skill, and kindness. This is the guy you want to call.

We needed a gas line dropped down to our fireplace for an upcoming gas fireplace insert installation. Out of three other plumbing companies, Jesse from Burgie's was the only one that actually took the BTU rating from each of my gas appliances and calculated the total gas demand to determine whether or not my home had sufficient supply to accomidate another gas appliance. Jesse performed the installation, pressure tested the complete gas circuit which passed inspection the first time. When the fireplace insert was being installed, Jesse was onsite if any gas line adjustmets were needed. Absolutly outstanding customer service. Burgie's Plumbing are true professionals. We had to move a water heater and install a water softener in our home. This was a challenge, as…read morethe water heater had to be moved into a crawl space and a loop had to be plumbed in our home to support the water softener. Travis and Jessie came out to do this project which took all day to complete. These two were well versed on local plumbing codes, very familiar with the products installed and liked to follow "old school" procedures. I found them to be amongst the very few plumbers who still know how to sweat solder copper piping and finish the joints properly. They weren't the cheapest plumber in town, but the quality, craftsmanship and honesty was unsurpassed! We were lucky enough to have Burgie's do the project for us. Both me and my wife couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! I also take great comfort in knowing that the job was done right! Awesome plumbing contractor and would 100% recommend these folks!
