I heartily recommend 1-800-Water Damage. I had a mysterious leak from my upstairs bathroom, which led to a hideous hole in the ceiling below and a bit of mold, too. I called several companies for quotes, but Robert from 1-800-Water Damage was the only one to carefully walk me through what he saw, what the likely cause was (we weren't really sure until we opened the ceiling), and what the process for repairs would be. A few days later I was presented with a very reasonable quote, and a few days after that, Robert and Javier came to begin repairs (which first involved some remediation). In the end, the cause of the leak was identified and some plumbing was undertaken as well to fix that; and then, after everything was thoroughly dried by a dehumidifier, reconstruction began--ending with a couple coats of new paint. Now I can say that the whole ceiling area in my hallway looks better than I did when I moved in. Four days start to finish. NB: they do not take insurance up front. You pay out of pocket, and then your insurance reimburses. That's one reason I think that their pricing was fairer and that they were less pushy than other companies. read more

We used this company in May 2024. They were all very friendly and professional and restored our wall, baseboards and door frame to new condition. They were quick to respond to our questions and concerns. We received a quick appointment for a service assessment and written estimate. Our project was not an emergency but we still received a fairly quick time frame to both start and complete our job. This company saved my wife's and I lives, mainly JUAN RAYGOZA we had gotten a ADU recently built and boom mold with in 6 months and improper drain input that was causing the mold they came right away and demoed the mold then started with the drain and breaking concrete to re level the concrete and level the drain properly. I cannot recommend this company enough!! We recently bought our home a couples months ago and started noticing water damage on our baseboard after each time it rained. I got curious and started peeling the paint to see what was going on when I realized it had developed mold. I called at least 10 different company's and this company was the ONLY one that would not just Remediate the mold but ALSO fix the exterior where the water was intruding. I had 3 companies come out and actually take a look in person and they either had sketchy business practices, could not fix the exterior so I would have to hire ouor would not provide a fully detailed estimate for start to finish until after starting the job which did not work for me as I needed an idea of what the project would cost me from START to FINISH. After calling so many companies I started to feel helpless and that my wall would never get fixed. It was a huge stressor as I have small children and could not stand the thought of there being mold where my babies live. I tried my luck and got the company's number off of Google. On my initial call I spoke with Juan and he was very helpful and thorough in explaining everything that would need to be done. The next day I received a very detailed and itemized estimate including everything from remediation to exterior repair. Once I approved it the team came over and started the very next day! I cannot adequately express how professional and nice the team was. The containment of the affected area blew me away I didn't have to worry about my kids getting in there or particles of material getting on any surfaces my little ones touch. I am a disappointed with this company. A little over a month ago I sent out a request for mold restoration. They were the first to respond. Which was great. Robert contacted me immediately. He sounded professional. But because I know some companies have the tendency to have someone call you, build rapport, then send someone else, I asked Robert (specifically) if he would be coming out himself. He said "yes". The next day he texted with "we should be there ......with the time". I waited for him to show up and the time came--but as I recall, they were late (First red flag went up). Then, when they did come, two different guys I was not aware and of, showed up who claimed had called and left a message (but I was not aware of). However, the main point is that Robert misled me. Told me he would be the one to come and even contacted me the next morning and failed to inform me he would not be showing up. Why is that important?....Reliability and follow-through. With so many bad experiences in the past with different contractors. I don't like to give business to a company I don't feel I can trust if the person I speak with and sells the service to me is not the one who will be performing the job (too many details to share in this review). But I explained this to Devon, who is the one who actually showed up. He was apologetic. Made the inspections. Went out of his way to crawl through attic to check on another possible leak, said would send me an estimate by the end of the next business day----NEVER DID--and I never heard from them. Not as much as "we cannot do the job for you" or even excuse themselves from the bid. Not a word! From Robert or Devon. So disappointing. So, I waited a week, and went with a different contractor. We recently had a small leak in our home which resulted in the dining room ceiling to have some staining. We had plumbers come out to fix the issue and we were left with a gaping hole and some wet spots. Due to the damage being so small, most agencies declined their services as their payout wasn't going to be big enough. I contacted them to help with water damage that went through my ceiling and they were able to stop by on the same day, take thorough pictures of all of the damage (including pictures with water damage detectors), and began working on fixing the issue. I had a window removal, drywall and stucco repair contracted. Both the owner and worker were very responsive, kind and courteous. The project; the initial removal of the window, initial stucco, framing and drywall were up in the a.m. and the rest of the stucco set to dry. The finished stucco in the end had a crack formed in the proceeding months. The finished texture was, well I probably could have done just as good.
