Super convenient and macros ratios on point. Some are better than others. Over all this will be a staple for the lazy days

As a service that caters to those who care about their health and fitness the lack of customer service is extremely disappointing. Not that the customer service was poor it was simply non-existent. I called several times today as I am seeking a meal prep service that can meet my set macros after reviewing information online I was quickly able to identify that macros simply could not be correct. I only needed to know the portion size and macros and after visiting both locations and making 5 phone calls that question is still not answered. If you are a detailed about tracking your calories and macros I would not recommend this service if the attention to detail in their food preparation in anyway resembles their customer service I would not trust what is on their labels. After 110 meals @ the cost of $1,348.27 I have decided to cancel my meal prep service. First the good. I don't like to cook so this service was perfect for me. I choose the lunch and dinner for 5 days a week. When I signed up they had delivery, but at an additional cost, so I chose to pick my meals up every week. The location is a little bit out of my way, but not enough that it was to inconvenient. The first meals I picked up I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of food, containers were filled to the top, and a good variety. But....that was the first week. Every week after that was down hill. Now the not so good. 98% of the meals were chicken and frozen vegetables. The same vegetables for most of the meals. (I don't like frozen vegetables, yucky, but that's what they served) The chicken was dried out, and tasteless for every meal. I started noticing the meals were less and less quantity until this week when there was hardly any food in the container. WTH For weeks they had generic labels on the plastic containers that didn't have the ingredients listed on the labels. My last week of picking my my meals they had the professional labels back on the plastic containers, and for some reason I read the list of ingredients. Yikes this is supposed to be a "Healthy" meal prep. To much sugar in the meals. I was wondering why some of the sauces tasted sweet. Wheat, soybeans, and sugars. Consumer beware. I've been a customer for the last 6 months and have been happy with the service and product until recently. 1% Fitness will no longer have my loyalty or my business. I had a problem arise with the pick up of my meal order last week. I made two attempts to find resolution or a compromise. My last conversation with Jordan, a staff member at the store, consisted of him quoting policy and that his hands were tied. His final words to me were that they have thousands of clients and apologized that he could do nothing for me. I am a local retail store owner. Something can ALWAYS be done. If a business makes a mistake they are given an opportunity to correct it and the customer is understanding and forgives with renewed loyalty. It should be the same in reverse. If a customer overlooks a policy the business should be understanding and offer some concession or forgiveness to retain their customer. Profit margins of almost any business, especially the food industry, allow for this. And it is a fundamental aspect of customer service that every customer is unique and important. - At 1% Fitness you are only a number among thousands of clients. I've been getting food from 1% Fitness since the first opened! The staff is amazing and they are so great about catering to your needs. How many meals do you need per week? No dairy? No pork? They'll take care it! I went to them in the beginning as an athlete and am going to them still as a personal trainer and refer all of my clients to them. Diet is usually where people struggle the most when it comes to getting healthier and reaching fitness goals. The most common complaints are "I don't have time to cook" "I don't know what to eat" "I eat what's convenient and available". Having them take care of the food gets rid of those excuses and the dishes! If you're looking for a meal prep company, even temporarily, or for travel, whatever it is, hire 1% Fitness! read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I can appreciate a company who will not allow themselves to be bullied by a negative review, but I can't understand their logic in not wanting to work with a customer who has spent thousands with them. It is very frustrating to be accused of misrepresenting my attempts to get in touch. Why not make an effort to keep a good customer's business...? I'm on my 2nd week, and I've definitely lost some weight. Not sure if it's sustainable, as everything kind of tastes the same. I like to join meal prep programs so that I can get different flavors and variety. I'm the type of person that gets very bored with food, so I will probably not be able to last more than a month. I haven't been able to eat an entire meal (medium) in one sitting. It's possible that it's because it's cleaner eating than was doing before, but it makes me extremely thirsty. I checked the sodium levels, and it seems like all 3 meals are under the daily sodium intake limit, but I feel like I need to chug a gallon of water after eating about half of it. It's a good and a bad thing. I've also noticed that if you don't do the full meal program (for all 7 days), the best looking meals are excluded, lol. I was really looking forward to the Korean BBQ steak, but it wasn't there. I did see that the website states that you can't pick your meal, so just expect to eat mostly white meats like chicken and turkey, and a couple pork dishes. This has happened 2 weeks in a row, so it's probably because those meats are cheaper. Anyways, I still think this is one of the better meal prep services and it is definitely a great way to kick off your weight loss journey. read more

There food is ok but pricy. The competition they offer is an absolute joke. DO NOT ENTER. If you think you will win based off of loosing weight and changing your bf% you won't. Even If you gain the most muscle you won't. Buyer beware of this "competition". Customer service was ok but I got conflicting information, so not much consistency. I would never pay that much for the meals if I was eating out. The value just wasn't there for me. Some meat cuts had quite a bit of fat which I also don't like. 5 star customer service and company - I am so grateful and impressed. My boyfriend travels for work and we typically order his meals from a premade healthy meals store or he goes inside and shops the brick and mortar store when we arrives at whatever city/state he is in that rotation. It seems that this area of Utah does not have any popular premade meals stores (SnapKitchen, My Fit Foods, Flex Kitchen, ReFuel etc) and I was struggling to find anything that would work. He works very early and late hours for 10 straight days so, grocery shopping isn't an option - hence why the premade meals have become the go to. I called 1% Fitness and explained the situation and the woman took my order and my payment info and set him up with some amazing meals! I was so thrilled and so was he. He's able to stay on track with his eating and didn't have to resort to buying lunch meat and sandwiches from the gas station. Worst costumer service ever, I had to leave town so I called them to tell them I wouldn't be able to pick my 2 weeks wort of meals but I would be back on a specific date. The lady on the phone told me it was fine that she would put the meals in the freezer. When I went back to pick up my meals one of the owners told me that they don't save 2 weeks of meals in the freezer that it didn't make any sense so she donated all of my meals. If one of your employees tells the customer one thing you should respect that. When your joining their incredibly friendly and helpful but once they have your money they don't care about you. read more

1% fitness is amazing! Their food is full of flavor and is healthy too! I love how they list the nutrition facts on the container so that you know the macro's. The containers are also microwavable and make it easy to reheat quickly. They have ranges of how many calories, to tailor the food to your goals. Forget cooking all your food and filling Tupperware every week and go with 1% it saves a ton of time. Plus it tastes amazing! read more

1% Fitness does meal prepping the right way! I found them through the fitness expo that happens every year and if I lived closer to a pick up location I would get all of my food from them! The staff is very helpful and can accommodate any type of diet that I've asked them about (Keto, vegetarian, Gluten free, low, mid and high caloric)! I am a huge fan of their egg bake and I'm fairly certain I could live off of that meal alone! I also love their 3 bean chili! The ingredients seem like they pick them carefully and the veggies are always AMAZING! They have great options for meal planning and pick up locations! Absolutely the best food option! When you're on the go and want to eat healthy these pre-prepared meals are the best quality you will ever find. The staff makes sure to personally preppy each dish and they stand by their product. If you haven't tried them and I highly recommend them. Paid extra for them to exclude a food item and my order contained several meals with that food item. Overall dry and not very good, and most food had to be eaten with a lot of water in order to finish it. I ended up not even finishing the week's worth food because it wasn't good. Waste of time and waste of money. I do not recommend. First week, I got a text saying meal prep was ready for pick up. When I arrived, only half was ready and they told me to come back the next day. When I returned, all the breakfast for the week was in 2 containers rather than broken out for each day. I asked them to switch to delivery and was told they cannot make the change there (in their store?!) but I would have to call. When I called, I let them know I live in an apartment that you need a key to get in the entrance so to call me upon arrival. No call, no food that night or the next morning. Called to see what happened and was promised a delivery that day. Again, no call and no food. I called multiple times to get it corrected or get a refund and got a pass around with no call back made or attempts to make it right. Rather, I got charged another time after I asked them to end my subscription. I liked that each meal (except breakfast) was different but the veggies taste like they're from a frozen bag, not fresh.
