Significant front left fender damage, requiring replacement. Based on the positive reviews I read here and elsewhere, I chose this shop, and was not at all disappointed. They keep their shop immaculate; it's evident they strive to be a top-notch operation. Andrey and staff were as courteous and professional as could be. They certainly did their part in facilitating the rental car and insurance process. Andrey was thorough and knowledgeable in explaining the repair process before, during, and after. I was assured they would do their best to restore my baby back to new off-the-lot condition. I'm no trained judge of auto body work, but honestly, the car indeed looks like new. To me, the paint match and assembly work looks flawless...showroom shape, once again. Many thanks to the body man whose name I didn't catch, although he did tell me he's been doing it for 20+ years. Having discussed the details and paid a $500 deposit, we had the car delivered to their shop. The work was promised within 6 months, and we were excited about getting the work done so that we could send it to the paint shop. Six months came and went, but we saw no photos or verification of work done. We then received another invoice, this one for $2000. We requested photos. Three were received, and we were shocked to see that the car had been disassembled, both rear quarter panels had been cut off, and the entire (perfectly good) roof had been cut off! Within a couple days we showed up at Corbett's shop to see the car for the first time in 7 months. At that point we had spent $5000 in labor, and another $950 for a quarter panel. Less than 10% of the work had been done. Simple math told us that this shop would be charging us $50-75,000 for labor alone, and thousands more for fabrication. We asked that the shop cease work. A week later, on February 15, 2022 we loaded the car onto a trailer, full of fenders, quarter panels, bumpers, doors, etc. Before we finished loading, I was presented with another bill for $1500. Although I did not authorize the roof being cut off, I was charged for it. The invoice included another $500 for welding it back on...apparently a big moneymaker for this shop. I asked what the extra $1000 was for. When it was pointed out to me, the work was negligible...it resembled a 2 hour job @ 75.00 an hour. I thought my $10,000 would buy a lot of welding and fabrication. It did not. $7000 was spent at their shop. For that I lost 7 months of time as well as having to put a car back in my garage that was disassembled, cut up, with virtually no work actually being done. Michael obviously pegged me as someone he could continue to extract money from, and finding tidbit reasons to charge me. The hours billed in no way parallel the amount of work actually done. If that is not the case, their crew is the slowest on Planet Earth. This shop has no conscience, with the objective of doing the least possible and charging the most a customer is willing to tolerate. The bad news: a loss of 7k cash, a cut up disassembled car, and virtually no work done. The good news: lesson learned.

In the end he stole the $300. No rocker panel was installed although on the last phone call he promised to mail a check for $300 - a restocking fee on the rocker panel. Now he just simply does not take all of this is a thief do not be fooled. He is like Jekyll and Hyde he will act like a professional businessman to your face but in person it's a whole different story. Do not trust your car or your money with this man.
