So, I primarily come here for lessons. I don't particularly dislike the place, but it also isn't…read morethe best. Reason being is that, there's a huge lack of safety when lessons are conducted. I don't feel comfortable taking lessons when it's too crowded. It mostly feels like that almost 90% of the time. When I mean crowded, crowded as in, in a line of 20+ students, the instructors prompt the class to skate across the ice, and you're too busy looking over your shoulder trying to not trip and crash into another person. You ever drive and see other people driving and swerving in and out of their lanes? This is a similar scenario, but with literal blades on your feet. Not a bad thing entirely, but the lessons are nerve wracking because of this. The quality of lessons are okay. Most of the instructors are much younger junior coaches, and they are friendly. However I feel like there is no direction and curriculum when the junior coaches teach. There are also senior coaches in some of the classes and I much preferred the senior coaches as they had a better sense of what to do in what level. In comparison to the other rinks I go to for lessons, the ones that require you to be enrolled in the Learn to Skate association before enrolling had better curriculum and I actually learned more stuff there than I did here. Now for the public sessions.... I normally go on the weekends. Public session hours are only available during certain hours on the weekdays but not really ideal for working adults, so I go on the weekends. But it. is. so. crowded. Crowded as in, too much traffic on the ice, and the ice is always melting! The ice doesn't stay solid and is really slippery, and I found myself always tripping and wreaking havoc to my knees. I think that experience alone makes me never want to use my free public session passes at all. If they had opened their public session hours more during the evening hours, I probably would go here more.

Having said that, I am SO GLAD that she stepped up to help out. She was fantastic! I am a worrier by nature, so the fact that I didn't have to worry about anything during my wedding or reception was wonderful. She confirmed with all our vendors, showed up early to make sure everything and everyone was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there, ran around constantly to fix any little problems that popped up - example: the caterer forgot the coffee and the coffee pot wasn't heating properly. The only thing I heard of it was when Hien asked if I was okay with her associate running to Starbucks and spending $30 to get coffee there. And that was it. When I got back, I also found out that she'd called the caterer, explained the situation, and got a refund for the coffee pot. I didn't have to do anything! I really can't say enough about how helpful she was, how calm during the last frantic days of the planning, how good she was about making sure that my then-fiance' and I were on the same page about how things were going to happen. There is no way I would have enjoyed my wedding day as much as I did if she hadn't be there to help.

101 Party Production is more than just a service, they're family! We hired them to do our uplighting, the sound, and to dj our wedding. They did not disappoint! The lighting just enhanced the beautiful venue that we picked and it gave it just that little bit more to make it really feel like a beautiful wedding. They were also able to shoot our Gobo onto the dance floor and eventually the ceiling, and also light up the dance floor for an extra fun experience! DJ Lady-K knew exactly what kind of music that our crowd wanted and was able to keep the dance floor packed the entire night, all the way through closing time that we had to start ushering people out! Her and the MC Ryce were able to accommodate our busy program seamlessly and everyone loved the games and little things that they were able to incorporate to keep our program moving throughout the night. Although our linens were already taken care of, they also offer that service which I'm sure they'd excel at just as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any their event services, they're truly a one stop shop! 101 Party Productions provided DJ services for a recent school function I helped to organize. It is because of their professionalism the event turned out to be a huge success. Their services were organized with fine detail and 101 Party Productions did not miss a beat. One of their best qualities that truly impressed me was their attention to detail. Another outstanding quality was their ability to take a ballroom to a whole different level. The staff took the time and attention to detail to transform the ballroom into a showcase. Throughout the evening the timing of the music was perfect and contributed to the event running smoothly. The guests commented on how great the music was and how much fun they all had. The music was consistently good, the staff extremely professional and of course the DJ services were more than anyone could ask for. I had Ben & his team of professional lighting technicians, DJ & photographers handle my daughters Debut this past weekend. Everything went in accordance to the time frames established. We were planning a wedding in a relatively short amount of time and appreciated the timeliness in their responses. Dj Jesse was friendly, professional and it was clear he is an expert in his craft. I appreciated that he was accessible, and highly responsive. During the calls, he was thorough , while politely moving the conversation along, ensuring our calls were productive. When asked for an opinion, he gracefully presented options providing objective pros and cons, while ultimately empowering us to decide. On the day of, Jesse arrived promptly and was ready to go well in advance, which was much appreciated. DJ Jesse was very confident in his ability to keep the energy up and he did a great job navigating our small, but diverse group, playing music in English and Spanish. The transitions were seamless and everyone had an opportunity to show off their dance moves with the music they liked. Staci offered not only DJ and MC services, but other features like lighting, a projector for our slide show, and a great photo booth, which really made the event a lot cooler and more professional. She was willing to work with our disorganized, DIY attitude, and did a terrific job with the event. I got lots of compliments on the music, and everyone loved the photo booth! I especially liked that she gave us so many suggestions (without being overbearing) -- we had never thrown an event like this before and really appreciated her guidance. For example, when we did a walk-through together of our wedding venue, she suggested where to put certain things (bar, photo booth, cake, etc.) based on her experience with the flow of traffic at a wedding. We implemented all of her suggestions, and they were terrific. We did some nontraditional things with the music (I wanted to walk down the aisle to something weird, among other things) and she happily went with the flow while suggesting ways to do things more effectively. At a time when you have so many details to worry about, it's great having someone you can rely on to handle things. More than literally any of my other vendors, Staci was incredibly organized, prompt, did exactly what she said she was going to do, and sent us lots of reminders for anything we needed to do ourselves. She was the "grownup" we needed to pull our event together.
