Nearly last minute, I called up The Floral Gallery to see if they could hook me up with a boutonniere the following day. Nguyen let me know that I could get the next day service for $25. I wasn't quite sure what a boutonniere costs these days, but I figured the Yelpies were worth the small splurge. Of course I had to get the red and white bout' to align with Yelp's colors. I scheduled the pickup for 3pm. This small flower shop in the Aldi/Subway/Nanay's shopping center is located near the Knockout Pizza. I showed up just after 3pm and was in and out in a flash. The boutonniere was wrapped in black with red, white, and some blooming green flowers. It was a perfect match to my green suit with a black shirt and black bow tie. Watchaaaaa! Friendly and timely service at a reasonable price. My only small issue was that they inadvertently charged my card twice, once each on two different days. However, they quickly realized their mistake and began processing a credit before I realized what had been done. I'm thankful that they noticed their mistake, but if I didn't have the funds it might have been a problem.

This was a very special occasion, and I spent over $100 hoping to receive an arrangement worthy of such an important milestone. In fact, I would have gladly spent more had I known the quality would match the occasion. Unfortunately, I began noticing signs of deterioration the very afternoon I picked up the bouquet. A few flowers already appeared to be struggling, and within four days the arrangement had declined significantly. Concerned, I contacted Stem Floral. My message: "I'm concerned that the bouquet did not last. I picked them up on May 30th, and it's not looking too good after only 5 days." Stem Floral's response: "Sorry to hear you're concerned with your arrangement! Just from looking at the photos I can tell the water hasn't been changed and is very low, that can be one of the biggest issues with florals lasting. We suggest trimming your stems and changing your water every couple days to keep bacteria from growing and killing the flowers. We never guarantee a lifespan of flowers but we do guarantee fresh flowers -- everything for your arrangement was bought the day before your pickup. If you would like to bring it in I would be happy to replace the dying flowers and get it looking fresh again for you!" I replied that the water had, in fact, been changed the day after pickup and that some flowers were already showing signs of decline on the first day. After that, I never received another response. To me, the flowers were simply not fresh. The suggestion that I load a large vase full of water and a rapidly dying bouquet into my car and drive it back to the shop was not a practical solution. More importantly, by that point roughly 80% of the arrangement would have needed replacement, something I seriously doubt would have happened. What disappointed me most was not just the bouquet's short lifespan, but the lack of follow-up after I explained the situation. A special anniversary arrangement should bring joy, not frustration. When a customer raises a legitimate concern, they deserve more than a one-time response and then silence. The lack of communication ultimately spoke louder than anything else. Based on my experience, I was left with the impression that customer satisfaction was not a priority.

Ordered Flowers from 1-800-Flowers. This company is contracted with them to process orders. When my…read moreflowers go delivered, it looked like someone took them from someone's yard and stopped by the local Vons to grab a bag of chocolate, let it sit in their car for a while, and wrote a note, not even the right one while they were driving. Spoke with 1-800 yesterday, and they said they would replace the flowers, get a new card, and replace the chocolates because they agreed that is not what I ordered. Well, today came, still not what I ordered. Card was even worse, and the chocolates never got replaced. Well, I took this up with 1-800-Flowers and they resolved my problem. The reason I am writing a review is because this company fulfilled the order not wrong once, but twice. Including pictures so you can see what I ordered, compared to what got delivered... not once, but twice. If you are unable to fulfill an order, don't take it on. I gave them a second chance before I took to the internet to fix this, but nope.
