Being new and nervous, it took my daughter 5 minutes to go about 10 feet and when we asked they said they have no buckets or beginner helps to push along. Instead they sent us Marcella who was our angel! She spent 5-10 minutes giving us a beginner tutorial and helped my daughter get off the wall skating on her own. We had so much fun and I loved getting to see my daughter try something new. The facilities and rentals at SD Ice Arena are decent. There weren't many fresh beginners.
